Both of my brothers are surfers. I never could figure out how to do it, so I went fishing instead.

There's not a snowballs chance in hell you would catch me out there bobbing around looking like a giant freaking seal.

You have more to fear from the bull sea lions than the sharks! Some of them weigh in at 350-400 lbs. Kinda like Hampton!

LOL!!! Me neither! I would love to SEE a great white but from inside a boat. I think they are honestly the scariest animal on the face of the earth.

Yeah if they got a hold of you you'd be regretting it for sure. Have you ever seen a wild one?

Lots! There's some rocks outside of La Paz named "Los Islotes" that has a sea lion rookery on it. Good diving there and the smaller females swim along with you. The problems arise when you get too close and the males see you as a rival for their harem. I was minding my own business in one dive and a BIG male swam right at my face and gave me a warning bark underwater. I backpedaled with Michael Phelps-like speed!!!!

I was lucky enough to see some at Guadalupe island about ten years ago. A small (8-9 footer) swam very slowly under the swim step. Just like the movies, when one shows up, it gets eerily quiet. When they're not feeding, it's amazing how slow and lazy they appear.

I would've looked like Captain Hook running from the crocodile. LOL.

That's awesome dude. I would love to see one but will probably never get to since they can't survive in captivity.

Just drive west untilyou get to San Francisco, then take a boat out to the Farralons! Or, go a little further south to Point Sur and go scuba diving!
