For the life of me I don't know why you don't take a quick shot at the end zone. I know MT is not a clock specialist but does he really think it takes 8 full seconds to run a side line end zone route?

 

Nah, made it a 2 possession game and why take the risk . Could've took a sack or some one might not of been able to get out of bounds . We did have zero time outs or am I mistaken

 

take the points - off sides, holding, sack etc and no points before half and there would be a thread about Tomlin and clock management

 

You know, I ride MT about his poor time management and (lack of) tactical decision making. This one, I can live with. And it's partially because of the one of those reasons (both his and Ben's fault). Do you really believe that this team could have run a play and still have time left on the clock to try the FG if it failed? I don't.

I think a lot of folks would have blown a gasket if we tried and left 3 pts out there and wound up with 0.
