Just was curious of any knows of a link to a spreadsheet table that shows the players earnings fo rnext year and how much cap space there is.

I read that Ben is getting close to $30 mill so if we were to make a pie chart...he def has a big chunk but hopefully he will restructure somehow or maybe he will be like Rogers and wont.

I guess Bud and JuJu are gone?

I think JuJu is for sure. The Steelers have a lot of depth at the position. Somebody is going to be willing to pay JuJu way more money than the Steelers will be willing to pay.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Steelers tag Bud a second time.

We’re already in cap purgatory for 2021 without factoring in resigning anybody. You can click on the manage roster button to make cuts, trades, resign our guys and sign external free agents to see the cap impact.

This cap crunch comes up every year and they always manage to work around it but 2021 does look especially difficult, some very tough roster decisions will need to be made. I like looking at cap stuff but would not call myself an expert, I’d have a reasonably good grasp of the basics though. This is my favourite cap tracker

If you want to feel better about the Steelers situation have a look at the Saints and Eagles, they are screwed!

The biggest problem is they are over paying players that aren't living up to their hefty contracts.

    1. Ben
    2.Descastro
    3.Pouncey
    4.Tuitt

Upcoming draft, I want to see a lot of offensive linemen drafted. The line is old and is crap. Outside of Dotson and maybe bring back either Matt F. or Banner.

We just going to have to get hit with huge cap hits and work on rebuilding. Spend a majority of the picks on Offensive line, get some gritty guys to smack some guys around and dominate the line of scrimmage.

We don't really need a bunch of skill position players. Juju and Conner more than likely gone. Roll with Benny Snell maybe you find a cheap FA or roll McFarland.

If Ben Retires he retires, roll with Mason, if he totally sucks, we have a better spot to get a QB in the 2022 draft.

Ben, Pouncey and Decastro are all underperforming and have the Steelers in cap hell next season. There's really no way around it. The roster next year is going to be objectively worse than what we're seeing this year. It's depressing, but this is the price you pay for maximizing your window to win. As good as the defense is, it's time for a rebuild on the offense and the next couple of years are likely to be painful, given that the rest of the division has improved.

Then again, a couple of years of higher picks might be just what the team needs. It's been a while.

I just do not see any way they can tag Bud a 2nd time as it would cost 23-25 million. If Ben comes back and they somehow get his number by extending it still will be a huge hit, they have to find money for TJ, that has to be top priority. Can they find a way to keep Sutton or Hilton, that has to be another goal (doubtful then can keep both and even one is going to he hard). Same with Banner and/or Feiler, Banner might be easier.
