Pretty easy to be good when you have a player like Mahomes. Quite possibly
the 2nd best qb in the last 50 years.

I believe Andy Reid is not done winning Super Bowls. AFC championship games in the last 5 years, three Super Bowl appearances within those 5 years winning 2.

Unfortunately were not close. Maybe 2 years from now.

I mean,it was not by luck that the chiefs have Mahomes...They trade up from 28 to 10 to have him and Reid was a huge reason for that...Also,Reid had 183 regular season win and 5 NFC title game before Mahomes,so he was on pace to be in the HOF even before that...The only thing he was missing was a super bowl, now he has 2

Miami dolphins had Marino. That didn't work out. Takes a coach that knows how to coach to put it all together

Are you intimating that Don Shula didn't know how to coach? The winningest NFL coach?

Did Don Shula win a superbowl with Dan Marino? I'm pointing out that it takes more than a great QB to win a superbowl. You indicated that it was "easy" with Mahones. Even as great a coach as Shula was he did not win a superbowl with a great QB. Or are you insinuating that Marino was not a great QB?

Good coach. Better GM that chose to draft PM though. Good all around team but patty is the elite piece in the offense first era of football. Outside from having pat his careers good but nothing breathtaking.

Marino was great but even he's not mahomes. Mahomes is the first guy to play football that can overcome a better team.

Well maybe Marino is not all that. I know that's a big taboo with some of You, but besides being a stat king.....what else has He done???
You trying to put that all on Don Shula??? Most wins, and 2 time SB winner.
    LoL.

Where did I put it all on Shula. Are you saying Marino was not a great QB? Shula was a great coach. My whole point is that you need more than a great QB to win the superbowl. Why didn't Shula win a superbowl with Marino since Reid won 2 because of Mahones? You woul think putting a great QB with a great coach would equal multiple super bowl wins if that were the case. Seems to make Noll's accomplishments even more remarkable

Look my point is Marino was a great QB. Shula was a great coach yet no super bowl wins together. Mahomes may be better than Marino. Time will tell but both are great QBs

Different era. I believe you put Marino in todays league he’d have multiple SB’s as well.

The guy was shredding passing records back then, could you imagine what he’d do today?

Sorry Marino faithful. I have never thought Marino was great. He was good, and talented of No doubt......, but I believe He was a Me...Me....Me Guy....people talk about they couldn't build a running game around Him.....it's because He didn't want one, or do You ,and everyone forget that when Jimmy Johnson took over how they got mad at each other because Jimmy was trying to build a running game, and Marino kept checking out of the runs. Well hard to have a running game when a player does that.
I will never say He wasn't gifted, but He was also full of Himself. You(anyone)can believe what they want. Don Shula, and Jimmy Johnson didn't just forget how to coach when they got around Marino.
