By saying the Steelers are better offensively than last year and more dangerous with James Conner? What the Steelers offense is doing right now is pretty impressive! They are really starting to roll!

James Conner had some big shoes to fill and he has done much more! He has broken the mold. This kid is going to be an All-Pro someday! He is better than Le'veon Bell while being a totally different style of back.

On a side note and most importantly, the defense is starting to gel. Secondary still subpar put they are making it work.

I'd call it even right now. The secondary is scary at times. I hate to see what Brady and Brees will do to it.

Secondary definitely has it's weaknesses but right now and as of late they have been playing above average. Defense wins Championships but I also think an above average defense and stellar offense can win one as well

I was never a fan of Bell's style of running, dancing around and waiting for holes to open up. I like the big burst to the line and rb's bouncing off defenders, half the time the first one doesn't get a good grip because of the burst. It was interesting while it lasted though. adios

Not at all. I’d say you’re likely right. Conner is so hard to defend.

Ben isn't throwing the interceptions he was throwing early in the season.

When it comes to Conner I think the real credit has to go to the OL. Don't get me wrong, Conner is good and he runs with a toughness that we haven't seen in Pittsburgh since Bettis but any decent RB can run behind this OL.

As for the defense, I'm afraid to say anything or it will jinx them but keeping Burns on the bench definitely helps.

Not many times does having a talent like Bell, sit out, but it truly was a blessing in disguise. Home-grown talent and a "Steelers Football," style of runner

That one reception he had where he cut up the middle and Ben fired it perfectly to him was sweet. I am shocked at how good Conner looks in the passing game.

As an ex- high school center. Where linemen get no love, only hate when the team can’t do anything offensively.

Give credit to the line. The coaching and years of experience are paying off.
    Hats off to Matt Fleir.
Shows you how good Munchak has done with these guys. You put in Fleir or Finney and they keep trucking if need be.

I completely agree, it all starts up front. They are the best in the business. Munchak has done a great job.

I think they are...the problem is EVEN if they make it to the Super Bowl...they do not appear to be even playing the same game as the Saints or Rams.

Both of those Offenses would shred the Steelers for 40 points. Can the Steelers put up 41 is the only question.

James Conner being able to run at will as well as be a serious threat in the receiving category is going to really open up the passing game. The Steelers have some serious weapons! I like James' "snow tires" a little more than Le'veons

I think I'm with most that James Conner is a refresher for all the drama/baggage we've been seeing recently.

He's the kind of guy Steelers' country embraces. He's the kind of guy you want to work a long-term contract out with.

And yes the secondary did much better. Proud of the performance today.

The Steelers are bringing it back together after a rough start.

I agree about the Rams (though they just got 45 put on them), but the Saints defense is as bad as ours. If our offense shows up to play in that game we'd have a chance.

Steelers put up 23 on the Ravens
Saints put up 21 against them

Still say they are the better offense? ;)

Idk if Conner is better. He does have to prove it for longer than half of a season... with that being said it’s been a hell of a half season so far.

It’s not too far out of the realm of sanity to say that Conner’s run style will lead to more TD’s in the red zone than Bell’s. Our RZ efficiency should be higher with him than with Bell.

He has shown a lot of ability so far this year. I hope he keeps progressing because he very well can turn into that All-Pro back we think he can be.

I don’t know at this point, Bryant was a better #3 than anyone on the roster right now.

Not only was he bigger stronger faster, but he also blocked better than the others.

You just can’t replace 6’4” 235 at a 4.3 for making teams fear getting beaten over the top!

I got a feeling Fitchner would have used him correctly as well.

I think he will be out of football in a year or making his 3o catch season for some losers.

I completely agree. Although ab torched them when we played the 2015 Broncos in the reg season martavis killed a prime aqib Talib. He was an undeniable talent he just had too many off the field problems.
