All settled in for my week long camping trip in Wellesley island state park. Got my Steelers chairs set up, a cold beer in my hand, my smoker is full of ribs and it's hot and sunny. Life is good, and with Bryant back, life will be better when we are in contention for the Superbowl. Yes, Bryant adds a lot to our offense.

I have that exact smoker. Although I've never actually used it as it was given to me by my uncle when he upgraded. I just don't have the time to devote to the slow cook. Camping seems like the perfect opportunity to do so. What are you smoking? What kind of wood are you using?

    Also, hello doggo!

You gotta make time for one of life's greatest pleasures, delicious, smoked meat.

Smoking pork back ribs with mesquite smoking chips. Plus I have beer brats on the charcoal grill right now for an afternoon snack. The neighbors are all drooling over the smell of what I've been cooking so far.

Pork chops, smoked deviled eggs, hickory smoked bacon and smoked Mac and cheese is on the tomorrow.

Nice camper. I have a 20 ft Cross Roads and am looking to upgrade already. We just purchased ours this year and stepped up from a PUP which we stepped up from tent camping just 4 years ago.

My wife's uncle had a 50 gallon drum that was cut in half with little racks put in and he could make some sweet ribs in that thing. Shaner I thought in Canada you guys just eat like "poutine" or ever how you spell it. Sounds like you need to move south! LOL!

I camp with an 18 month old and 2 German shepherds, I needed all the space I could get. I have the passport 2920BH. I took the side of a crib, attached hinges to it then attached it to one of the bunk to create a makeshift crib. So now the little guy has his own bedroom in the back, the dogs get the living area and me and the misses have our bedroom. It's perfect for us.

It appears one of your dogs has walked over to steal the neighbors chicken.

We just bought a Cherokee 294bh (35ft) and absolutely love it. We were just about ready to hang up the camping gear until we found this camper. Was an upgrade for us and well worth it.

Nice part for me I live in woods, about a mile from a lake and a county park which everybody goes camping at.

Makes it really nice! Like camping all year round but, it's home. I go through a pile of firewood year round. Both outside and inside.

Have fun camping, I love ribs, ribs are awesome.

I live in the sticks as well but I just find it's not the same. I need to be away from home. When I'm at home, there's always so much to do in terms of chores, errands, renovations, etc. While camping, life seems to pause.

So true. I live in the sticks, surrounded by nature, but still love camping. When camping, I don't feel like I should be fixing something,

Either he's enjoying life away from the intrusions of the internet...

....Or every horror film I've seen about people camping in the woods was true.

Absolutely. Keep me in mind next year. I'm there a lot during the warmer months. It's my go to park. Was hoping to go back there the 2nd weekend of October, but it's closed, so heading to Bon Echo instead.
