Heard this on that show. "The out come of this game will determine the future of the Steelers for the season". Do you Agree or Disagree. I Disagree since their is a lot of football to be played but our on the road track record is not good and this is our first divisional game.

If you mean is this a must win game....no......because if we lose this one and then don't lose again we make the playoffs at 12-4

A loss will determine the season. A win...not so much.

    I agree.

People say there is still alot of games left to be played but after this sunday the season will be at the halfway point.
If this first half of the year is any indication we'll be awful cold this year.

Not to mention the craziness going on with the defense. The way some of them have been mouthing off and the way they've been playing are horrible signs.

This game will be very important for us. If we're going to turn this season around it's got to start somewhere. If we wait until week 10 or 12 before we "Unleash Hell" Guess what?

We just became San Diego. We don't want that.

Team needs to learn some discipline real quick, put some fire under their asses, and get their heads on straight right now.
I'm sickened it took this long for the team to say "Hey we need to start playing better."

I think this game will be huge.

If we can't beat Oakland or Tennessee what makes you think this is at all possible?

Heads need to be removed from behinds ASAP on this team.

Agree. Maybe only one loss in division but that would be 4 in the afc. Would put us in more of position to have to win division then....I think.

More like the 40% point. I agree though, this week is basically a must win IMO.

I think we have basically this game, Cleveland and Dallas left as winnable games on the road on the schedule. At the moment, we have basically ZERO chance to win on the road at the NYGiants or Baltimore.

I'm thinking we're at this point. Going into this game might be it's own quicksand pit.

A bit too over dramatic sure since we still have half a season left, but the principles still apply.

We're snowballing, or "Stuck in quicksand" right now with all the injuries and poor performance and questioning coaches and whatnot.

If the Steelers come into this game and play flat, unemotional and lose then stick a fork in them as they're done. I don't care to even look over the rest of the season. If they can not get up for a Divisional game against a much improved team coming off 2 straight losses then we have no business expecting much in the playoffs if they were miraculously gifted them. This game will tell alot about the 2012 Steelers.
It's time for Ben to put up the 30 he's talking about and for the Defense to finally show some life.

Here is the problem with our losses so far....they are all against AFC opponents, and another AFC loss will be even worse.

Let's face it, catching up to the Ravens record will be tough. You got to think about this in terms of what gets you in at Wild Card.

I think the Steelers will bring there A game and squeak by on this one,
Very important game,AFC and divisional opponent. We can not afford to lose to AFC teams
    from here on out.

I agree that this game will be huge in regards to the rest of the season, but I'm not so sure that catching the Ravens will be as tough as it seems. I also don't think that BEATING the Ravens at home or in Baltimore will be as tough as people say.

Why? First - the Ravens record is deceiving. They're NOT playing as good as a 5-1 team should. Yes - they're winning games and we're not. However, they are REALLY beat up and have a rough road ahead. IF the Steelers get their heads out of their behinds, as some have posted here, AND - players start getting healthy, they can become the strongest team in the division.

The first key is to get to 3-3. Then, we can continue to discuss what the future may hold.

Nothing is a must win, yet. But things need to start pointing the right direction. If there is another 4th quarter collapse by the defense then I think the loss tells us a lot more about this team than a win.

If we lose then I don't forecast a good rest of the season.

Firstly, thanks for posting this bettiss. I like to watch agree to disagree.
Secondly, we have not been a healthy team for a couple of years and I do not see a healthy team for awhile so I do not have high hopes for any near future games.
Thirdly, since when do the STEELERS spend so much time discussing other teams, NFL radio interview,s agree to disagree the message board. GEEESH down times suck.

Agree with one, if we lose this one, we won't get to the playoffs. I think it is a must win game, and I have a lot of concern with this game due to the injuries and the poor showings of the backups and how we wear out in the 4th quarters.

I agree ....I also think we should sit any player that is not full strenght until we play division games....Our overall record is not as Important as those games...We have a schedule that could allow us to be at full strength at 1 and 0 in our division if we can win this 1....

This is as a big of a must win game as they could possibly have in week 7.
