Posted this in another thread...thought it was important.

 

It is important. I get emotional when I think about Shazier. He's my seven year old sons favorite player and he was crushed when he was carted off. It will stay with me forever.

 

I believe this game sealed the number 2 seed for them. Which is going to be very important for Joe Haden to return healthy for the playoffs. I would not play him next week even if he is cleared.

The Steelers are going to get waxed like Mr Miagyi's classic cars in the Karate Kid next week, I would bite the bullet and just prepare to get the team ready for the last 2 games to seal the #2 seed and get everyone back healthy and hopefully solve the defensive coverage issues and LB issues for the playoffs.

 

The Steelers clinched no worse than the #3 seed. The Steelers, Pats, and Jags are all still alive for the #1 seed

First sweep of the Ravens since 08.

 

The odds are stacked against the Steelers but you never know. They keep pulling out wins when it looks like a defeat. They’ve shown that they can come back from a double digit deficit and bring home a win. One thing I like is that all the talking heads will be saying how they have no chance and will get blown out. This team plays better with a chip on their shoulder. You just can’t tell with this current version of our Steelers.

 

As much as this team has it's ups and downs, they are a close knit unit. 12-2, AFC North Champs. Love it! Other teams cannot take comfort in a lead. They are battle tested and ready to take this thing home.

Now time for Ben to ice that arm and get ready to outshoot Brady.
