oh for the love of god. You know they practice two minute drills and seven shots every single day of training camp? They also practice it during the week. Do you know why? To prepare them for those exact situations. This is on Claypool and Claypool alone. He screwed up. Not Tomlin. Not Canada. Not Hilliard. Chase mother loving Claypool.

You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink.

Accidentally doing something like fighting for extra yards when you should stop the clock is not the same as claypool being selfish. Fighting for extra yards is appropriate at certain times of the game. Claypools stunt never ever helps the team and was not an accident. Even today he doesn’t care that he did it. If he had a time machine he would do it again. The other players that fight for extra yards would change what they did

The reasons matter less than the results. Limited time left needing a score whether you are being a dumbass or fighting for more yards if it wastes time and doesn't help you score its the same result. Sure one looks better but still shows poor awareness and preparation.

One player is coachable and regrets the mistake the other doesn’t and he really wants to tell the fans off but thinks it might cost him his job
