AB's Streak

How long do you expect AB to keep his streak of 5 catch games going? I say the biggest test of that streak will be the Seahawks game because I'm assuming he's gonna match up against Richard Sherman. I say if he makes it through that game with the streak in tact it will continue in to next season. What say you? When do you expect it to end? I mean it HAS to end eventually right???

With our scheme the only way I see stopping is if he get injured

 

Sherman can't stop him. He can't cut and move like AB. He'll hold and grab all day though unless they call it tight.

 

Agreed. I am excited to see them do battle, but I honestly think AB is as close to uncoverable as it gets. Injury is the only thing I can see ending the streak this year.

 

yeah his streak should go on all this season barring injury,,,I figure he is good for 7-10 against Sherman

If I recall correctly from the SF game, AB has a new streak going now too - 13 games with 7+ catches. Dude is a monster...

 

Ab is uncoverable, if he is targeted he will catch it
and make something out of it. Most exciting Steeler in a long time.
Worth the price of admission.

no way. that's the only dick that AB can't put in the dirt, a tough old Marine. the wife of a tough old Marine i can't speak for. they are probably the toughest people on the planet.

 

After 2 games he is leading all receivers in yardage, just maybe we haven't seen all of his potential yet??

 

I'd like to see multiple touchdowns per game. Having said that, Joe Dimagio had 56 games with a hit. I think 5 catches is more difficult. I'd like to see him beat that.

 

Yes - and (God forbid) the injury thing could be either with AB or BB -never know the connection with a backup QB. Odd thing about AB's streak (and I'm guilty of this as well) - it was almost laughable with the game announcers as they began mentioning it when he set the new record- they weren't even aware that such a record existed. But now - it's becoming quite amazing especially seeing how opponents feebly try to defend him to no avail. So much different than some of Hines Ward's last year receptions where he was in ONLY to extend his stats and his 1000th reception may have even lost yardage (no disrespect to Hines). AB is a Superstar before our very eyes.

 

Richard Sherman would have a real bad day if he were asked to cover AB one on one.

And thank you Mike Wallace. How horrible would it be to have to watch AB's streak on another team?

He also has 3 consecutive regular season games with at least 100 reception yards and at least 1 receiving TD.
