This AB stuff makes me think of all the stories over the years of people who were mauled by their pet (insert exotic animal here)

That's because of the system. NE wanted guys that fit the system. That's why Ochocinco didn't work when he went there and he's far more talented than anyone you just named. They needed guys who were ok with just getting the ball to whoever the scheme got open or dictated it be thrown to. So it worked. They played a short inside out passing game. Not bombs away down the field. That's not Brady game and it's it's why he changed the offense in Tampa. Bruce arians offense is not throwing to the rb, screens, heavy play action, or throwing all those little short shallow crosses and stop routes. So wasn't like he just made garbage look good. They just had guys who fit what they wanted to do offensively within a system.

I didn't say Brady made garbage look good though. I said no one else wanted his receivers and you just said Ochocinco was "far more talented" than them. Around 2013 IIRC Brady had actual trash at WR and was looking at repeating that with AB and Josh Gordon not working out.

Brady didn’t change anything, maybe they tweaked some stuff but it just took him time to learn a new system and language. He said as much.

You really think someone like Bruce Arians would scrap his offense like that? No NFL coach would do that, they are all A-type personalities.

He did. Bruce arians does not run heavy play action, Throwing to rb, all those shallow crosses and short routes, etc..

Belichick himself said it's their system he's running in Tampa.https://www.pewterreport.com/do-bucs-run-patriots-offense-with-brady/

And yes they do. Just like Gary Kubiak did whatever Peyton wanted him to do when he came when he always ran the offense his way. Arians has a ego but it's not Tom Brady. That's why despite arians not wanting AB the bucs signed him anyway cause Tom wanted him.

Belichick is saying that the way plays are being called is very similar to what Brady did in NE. Many are still Arians' plays. The route depth in Arians' offense is so much more than Belichick's and exactly what we saw in Pittsburgh.

Personally, the fact Arians has the GOAT TE and is underutilizing him should be a giveaway; also no flea flickers that I'm aware of; and the Buccaneers aren't spying on opponents.

On the other hand, RB catches are way up.

Brady had a ton of input into the offense or he wouldn't be there. Which other QB could tell their coach they're going back in the game and just do it? Isn't that the type of thing AB just got cut for in the middle of a game?

    "AB get back in there!"
    "No."
    "GTFO!"

    "Brady you're coming out."
    "No."
    "Sorry, sir."

AB wants to play for the Ravens. Article in Yahoo sports. Lamar likes the idea, but will Harbaugh?

Now Brown is on record saying, "I've always done what's best for me". Now, there's a guy I'd want on my TEAM.

I’ve only known one person who was crazy and knew he was crazy. A very nice guy picked me up hitch hiking once in Massachusetts, had an odd laugh but otherwise polite, he even went out of his way to get me to the small town I was going to. He said he was on his way to XYZ hospital, his doctor said he should be”admitted”. He dropped me off and we bid fair well. This came up in conversation at my friends home. My friends dad made note XYZ hospital was an asylum.

That's what he should do. Teams always do what's best for the team, so why is it wrong when players worry about self?

Sad you think someone should worry about team that will be standing long when he's gone.
