A. Brown's upcoming contract talks just got a lot more expensive!

Now that you mention it, I think you're right, the damn Texans. Maybe the most frustrating game from beginning to end that I have ever seen. They literally COULD NOT move the ball on our defense. We get the ball - Pick 6. We get it again - Pick 6. It was awful.

Yeah and that was only because Ben got hurt for those few games. It's incredible to think that we've had Ben that long and Cowher has been gone for as long as he has too. Dang time just flies dude.

There was a game vs Oakland that we dominated and los where Oakland has less than 100 yards of total offense. Turnovers and special teams los that game.

A thread about top tier WRs, and somehow you still managed to work DHB into the discussion... Bravo PWP!

Well... he is one of the 250 best WRs in the world today, so I guess by that measure he is top tier ;)

This is a perfect example of why debates as to if a player is "elite" are without solution. If we would more clearly define the variables in the function set, define the value of 1 standard deviation of the results and clarify the asymptote or apex, depending on the function set parameters, then it would be easier to settle.

i hope this clears things up.

He said today that hold out always end badly. I honestly think Brown is going to do what Brown does and keep his head down, keep at the grind, and hope everything works out in the end. If he does this I promise you he will retire a Steelers and will have shattered all the receiving records.

Here's a snip it of what he said. Love the attitude, wish all players were this professional

"I never really told anybody I'd hold out,” Brown said, via the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. “This organization did a great deal with me, rewarding me with a contract (two) years in. And holding out is never what I've been about. I love the game, I love to play and I'm gonna be here. I'm here. ...

"You know you get caught up thinking about the future you lose sight of the present. What I'm here to do today is to show how hard I've been working, showcase I can still be the best in the world and help my team win football games."
