for telling the truth. He obviously didn't deserve taunting flag, and ref went out of his way to "hip check" him as he termed it. Refs honestly seemed to have some vendetta against Bears

He was clearly taunting the Steelers sideline as a F-U for cutting him.

Might be a bogus penalty but there is no doubt he was doing it.

He was either taunting or forgot which side his team was on.

This. Not to mention our punting unit is running on and around him because he’s still taunting us for cutting him. It was the right call. He’s a jackass and should be cut tomorrow.

Yup. Then the Steelers can sign him again and cut him again as soon as he lands in Pittsburgh.

I could be wrong, but I think they updated the rule to where you can’t turn to an opposing sideline and talk trash anymore like that. You can talk smack with guys on the field to an extent, but turning to the sideline will get you the flag.

I think they will call that nowadays.

Yup! No sympathy, didn't a Steelers receiver get a taunting for spiking a ball after a big play that just happened to bounce into an opposing player?

What else was he doing other than taunting? posing for SI?

Dude ran over to the Steelers side while the punter was already on the field so it was excessive and long, that would get called pre-2021 rule.

That's what I don't get! His whole team is already off the field and he's still walking towards the sidelines posing! You saw one of the coaches cussing him out on the sidelines, then he comes out trying to blame the ref!

There's a reason you've been cut multiple times. Steelers picked him up late ion the offseason last year as well. Didn't look like too many teams went searching for him to be getting called up from the Bears PS in Game #9!

You got a coverage sack because your other teammates did the work. Not like you beat your man and made something happen!

This happened years ago and the name slips my old mind but player spent 7-8 years on a team and was traded to another. The first time they played he walked over to his old teams side forgetting he no longer played for them. It was harmless and the players got a big laugh out of it.

I don't get taunting or the so-called unsportsmanlike conduct penalty. Where do you draw the line? Is it sportsmanlike to celebrate every routine tackle with a dance? Or signal first down for the ref after a 9-yard catch? Or dance in the end zone? Take a "team photo" after an INT?

    Is this "sportsmanlike"?

Proper sportsmanship behavior went out the door when Goodell came through it. JMO>

His coach that was screaming in his face clearly thought he was taunting or just stupid?

Even though I wasn't as big a fan of B Sanders as most...I did enjoy that part of Him. Make it look like it was an everyday thing.

I'm not saying it's taunting, I'm saying it's not sportsmanlike.

It's cause and effect. By promoting the celebration in an attempt to monetize it and use it to fuel growth for the league you also are creating opportunities in which to taunt opposing teams and their fans. One leads to another.

This isn’t complicated, don’t direct it at anybody.

There, glad I could clear that up.

If you're going to get a 15 yard penalty, at least make it worth it!

The guy is a borderline NFL player, and he gets busted for fifteen for taunting. Taunting, after the league made it clear they would be cracking down on it. Not only that, be happy you have a job instead of trying to show up the team that cut you. Idiot.
