    man i never remember injuries like this when I was growing up a fan. I mean there were old guys out there drinking, smoking, and they just kept playing. Today? The injuries just keep piling up

    Bigger, faster, stronger.

    I’m more surprised that you don’t see this with every team. Getting through a season and to the SB requires a fair share of luck as well as talent.

    Agreed, even with the advancements in nutrition, stretching, rest, proper lifting techniques, the human body is still being pushed to the limits by athletes. With all the physical activity it should surprise us that there is not more of these injuries.
