400 yard offense countdown...

There needs to be a 30 point countdown

 

I'm afraid the only way we score 30 is if we are losing and have to keep trying to score. If the Steelers ever jump out to a 21-3 halftime lead then Tomlin will take the air out of the ball and just try and kill clock and be satisfied with a 27-17 point win.

Winner, and We have scored way more points with less yards than that....that's why the yards thing is retarded to me.
For Example: I watched Ben throw for 6 tds in a game , and We blew a team out...yet We didn't have 400 yards offense.
That whole not having 400 yards offense thing was stupid. Points matter, TOP matters on offense....not yards.

 

It's important to be able to have 400 yards on offense, since sometimes you won't always have great field position (yesterday our field position was bad to start the majority of our drives on offense) and when our defense didn't have their best game, it is important to be able to move the ball and our chances are better to have a good result.You don't always need 400 yards to score a lot of points, but sometimes it's necessary.One of those 6 TD pass by Ben against Baltimore,they had close to 400 yards(376 offensive yards) and the game before vs colts,they had over 600 offensive yards...But the game vs ravens,they had 3 TD drive who had started in the Ravens territory....

 

LoL. Close is not 400 yards. Example of how not important the whole 400 yard offense is.....10 out of 15 games played just this week.....the winner did not have 400 yards.
It's a stat the media found, and ran with it, and the sheep fell in line with it.

 

The lack of yardage as a symptom of the offensive problems, an indicator of just how poor they had been for a long time.

 

Wait a minute even when we had the great BEN R we could not get close to averaging 30 points per game.

 

I didn't say that yards are the only thing that matters and you should know what I think, since I explained it to you last week and I got a like from you after that!

 

We don't ask for 30 points per game, but we have to have that occasionally or at least close to that

You do realize my friend that only 3 teams in the last 3 years have averaged 30 points a game, and none of them have win a SB

 

No I didn't know that, all I remember when Haley was OC we never came close to averaging 30 points a game with a supposed HOF QB

 

As well as a KP mulit-TD passing performance countdown. Two TDs would be great, but I hope he throws 3.

Warren and Harris are getting all the TDs on the ground. But yeah.... passing TDs are going to be required in December and January.
