I learned a lot of my Spanish by reading comic books like "Condorito". A lot of the action ones are written using "Chilango" slang. Doesn't translate well in Baja California.....!

An old deckhand was prepping me with what to say in a……..house of ill repute In Manzanillo Years ago. I practiced for about 45 minutes and thought I was suave. What he taught me to say offended even a working girl in the red light district! He and the taxi driver thought it was hilarious!

That is smart. First thing me and buddies tried to learn when we got to a new country was where are the places where the ladies of the evening congregate. In the 70's European countries were like Nevada. That stuff was legal.

I wanted the Joey Porter video saying Jeremy Stevens was soft, but I have not found it.

I saw this video, but I believe it was the day before where Porter says nobody wants to be honest, but they want to sugarcoat things. A reporter asks Porter to give his honest opinion and he says, "Honestly, I believe Jeremy Stevens is soft." This is the video I wanted, but maybe it was just a newspaper quote the previous day.

Since there is not a 54-yard Steelers touchdown I could, here's a trivia question for Steelers' Nation:

Name the four players who wore #54 and won Super Bowls with the Steelers? Think reserve linebackers/special team players.

I can only think of one. Marv Kellum back in the mid 70's.

Correct Kellum played on the 74-75 teams. One played in the late 70s. The other two, one was on the 05 team, and the other on the 08 team.

I am trying to think without cheating. I think I know the 05 and 08 guys. I just can't place it yet.

Trivia answer: '78-'79 Zack Valentine (I new the name, but didn't recall he was a late 70s backup LB); 2005 Rian Wallace; 2008 Andre Frazier. I would not have come across these names if I wasn't looking for a memorable #54.

By the way Ryan Switzer retired, but I missed him signing a 1-day contract to retire as a Steeler. AB said, "Get in line."

Speaking of the first game, I assume we will have to put up with the ladies raising their AFC Champs flag before the game. The Bengals fans are going to expect more of the same this season and will be bat**** crazy at the start of this game.

I sure won't have the sound on for this game.

I'm assuming in the predict the score thread this game will have most predicting the ladies from Cincinnati.
