2026 Free Agent Thread

So by Your thoughts it's OK to have a losing season, and not even make the playoffs, but it's bad to lose a playoff game?? LoL. You know what, you can't win a playoff game, or make a SB if You don't make the playoffs.
It's funny, I don't remember winning a SB after our losing seasons in..
1982, 1985,1986, 1988, 1991, 1998, and 1999, but hey we finally got to one in 2005.Boy they were fruitful. LoL. I just hope we don't have to go through 8 more losing seasons like that to get to another.

 

I guess the losing seasons just aren't fruitful enough for them. LoL

They went from 4 wins to Super Bowl.

Hmm, and here you just said the Steelers. Now you change it to the Patriots, but since you just brought up the Patriots, it's been 6 years since they won a playoff game.

 

Patriots won 3 playoff games last year... vs Chargers, Texans and Broncos. Steelers haven't won a playoff game since Obama was president.

In other words... Patriots won as many playoff games in 2025, after a losing season in 2024 as Steelers have won since 2011.

 

My point is if that they want to tank just start Ewers instead of spending money on Willis.

 

I guess they have to make it look like they are trying, and also they can see if Willis is worth building around for the future.

 

Duh. You can't make the SB without winning playoff games. I said they hadn't won a playoff game in 5, or 6 years before that. Also come talk to me about the Patriots next year when they don't win a playoff game. Nobody could have scripted a better playoff scenario for them then what happened. Terrible weather, and opposing teams Qbs getting hurt before they could play them. Also they lost the SB, and badly.

 

No way the great Mike Vrabel got outcoached in the Super Bowl, according to some Steelers fans on here he's the next Belichick.
