Pickens was already a very good player with the potential to be an All-Pro. He turned that potential into production in 2025. That is undeniable.

 

And Prescott is a better QB than old-Wilson, Fields, Pickett and Trubisky.

 

Granted, but that alone doesn't explain the huge gap between what Pickens did and what Metcalf did last season. Any dispute of what the Steelers should have done last offseason should have ended when Metcalf got himself suspended with his immaturity and selfishness.

 

Rodgers was so bad against playoffs team last season.If he was a improvement over Wilson or Fields in 2024,it was not by much since the offense had similar numbers despite a harder schedule in 2024

 

Were they going to the Super Bowl if they kept Pickens nope, they didn't lose a second round pick they got the receiver they wanted in return.

I think he was referring to playoff teams.... Packers, Bears, Bills, Seahawks, etc. We played those teams in the regular season and Rodgers didn't play very well. Rudolph played vs Bears.

They essentially traded Pickens and a 2 for Metcalf and a 3, a terrible deal that made the team weaker. Metcalf was a huge disappointment. He disappeared far too often, dropped way too many passes, and then got himself suspended due to his immaturity.

 

Eagles look like a good pick right now....Bills,ravens and chargers are too high(eagles at +1700 and chargers at +1500)

Possible but if Fields would been trash with us,who was possible,the chance to have a top 10 pick would been better.We all know the ceilling of the steelers with Rodgers was a wild card exit...at least if it would been Fields and he would been awful,we would see some action by Howard....
