I hope someone doesn't overpay for him... He's played really well for us and our depth is razor thin on the D Line, and Cam isn't getting any younger.. DL would have to be ANOTHER priority

I am a big fan of Alualu. Personally I think he was a huge upgrade over Hargrave. Hopefully the Steelers can get a deal done with him before anyone gets a chance to poach him.

Yep, if he is willing to do something reasonable they should look to bring him back before signing any outside free agents.

I think Tennessee is the perfect fit for Bud. If anyone knows the position it is Mike Vrabel.

If he doesn’t put out a statement thanking the Steelers, I’d be surprised. Wouldn’t blame him if he doesn’t thank the fans, just look how much some of you on this board **** on him and you want thanks :lolol:

I take everything Aditi says with a grain of salt.

I knew you’d like that :lolol:

I like Vince but he’s getting up there in age and I think Spillane makes him very expandable plus they also will likely address the position in the draft.

Until every linebacker they have is injured by week 8 !!

Hope Vince stays but his contract makes it difficult

Not even just long term but also the guaranteed money he got. The Steelers don't pay people high guarantees. The pats used to do the same thing but even they have got with the times.

Looks like at least Cincy won’t get Hilton unless they add another one.

They gave Haden a lot of guaranteed money last time he signed, and Cam just got a very fair deal considering his age. I think the Steelers are already changing their ways in that regard

Tennessee's over-payed player now, Steelers made the right choice.

Best of luck Bud, thanks for playing under the franchise tag.

It was decent but no where near what he couldve gotten on the open market. James Bradbury got like 32 million guaranteed. They give up front money but not the large numbers you see other teams pay. Watt got what Heyward got over just 2 years. Steelers just don't do business like that. We will see how it plays out in the future

Pats have 53 million to spend. Steelers are sitting around 4 million at the moment.

Raiders or Dolphins are probably his best bet but I’ve not heard anything to suggest either are negotiating with him.
