second half? What about the first half. Alternating (far) away games whereas the Ravens get to consolidate their westward trips. Also neither the Bengals or ravens have to play the pats (never mind away) and both play Searle at home while we travel there.

how about this... tell AB we will renegotiate next off season if we win the division.

Winning the division affects two games, yeah it means Pats and Colts instead of Dolphins and Jags. Yeah I would rather have the Fish and Jags but hey we are only talking 2 games. What sucks this year is the rest of out schedule is tough and the Pats and Colts are both pretty good teams.

My wife and I were wondering that too. It was strange. Almost looked like writing.

Looks like I won't be going to the game when we play the Chokers. I don't want to be around the handful of ignorant San Diego fans on a Mon. night. Sunday game, I would definitely be there ( guarding my TT with my life) Just can't do a Mon. night game anymore.

That seriously has to be one of the toughest schedules in NFL history. There's not a soft game until they play Oak, and Oak should be better and the Steelers have struggled against them recently. Could be a rough year...

St. Louis, 3rd game, I'd file that under soft. But yeah, pretty tough schedule.

They're all five-star matchups... cause we're in them.

We play a lot better against good teams than we do against bad teams. 15-1 or 14-2 is not out of the question.

Wth all due respect, I think you're underestimating them, especially their D at home.

We knew the schedule was going to be brutal. Bring it. I like the late bye.

I like the schedule actually. We've seen this team try to coast their way through the season due to an easy schedule. That's not even on the table this year! The players and staff know they will have to bring it in every game.

Disagree. That defense could end up being #1 in the league this season. Their front 4 is scary. However, I'm happy that we're getting them early. Their offense is going to need time to gel. I think the same goes for San Fran - new coach, no Willis, no Gore, maybe no Crabtree… They may be in disarray early in the year. Good to get them in week 2.

I am not a fan of the schedule outside of the late bye week. Yes getting SF and the Rams early is good but man there are no slam dunks in this schedule. If the injury bug hits there is not a team we can get "healthy" against. We face SF, Rams, Seattle the Ratbirds twice and all those defenses lay the wood. Yes the Steelers typically play to the level of their competition but on paper this looks like murderer's row. Definitely need the offense to pick up where it left off to help the defense especially early on.

Defense is very good but they were a 6-10 team, maybe they take a big step, maybe they don't, I can't yet put them up there with the likes of NE, Seahawks, Ravens, Broncos. My biggest concern is how Williams does the first 2 weeks, if he's not being productive, Rams pass rush will be able to T off on Ben.

Like I said earlier, the last time they had the number 1 hardest strength of schedule, they went 12-4 and won the superbowl, beat the best and be the best, if they make the playoffs this year they will be battle tested and can handle any team they face in the playoffs like they did the last time; dont forget every other team in our division has to play 14 of the same teams we will face, so this strength of schedule will separate the chaff from the wheat in the AFC North....

Im with you...the Rams game was the only one that I was ok to see. This schedule is brutal. At least there aren't as many night games.

Only thing that worries me is that season opener. History shows that the defending champ rarely losses that game.

I'm actually far less concerned about the 49ers than the Rams. I think the 49ers are going to land in the basement of the NFC West this year - especially if their real draft turns out like their draft in our message board mock :roflmao:

No way. You haven't been paying attention. I bet we lose that game. Fisher has that team on track. We lose that game.
