Kyle Trasks team made him look good. Not saying he can't be good, but he wasn't elevating anyone. He was definitely better than Frank's . The Qb they were playing be4 him. I Liked the rest though. Especially that TE. Gray.

Traded a fifth for Wormley and a 7th.
We've already traded our 5th next year for Avery Williamson and a 7th.

Strongly disagree on Kyle Trask being in the 1st. That is a far bigger reach than Artie Burns and Jarvis Jones put together. Yikes!!

i think jones will be gone. i also dont see a great deal of difference from trask on down in talent. maybe not ideal but size we like, can throw. not to mention we have no QB signed beyond this year. just got a feeling about the steelers and him. i do like the kid from memphis and ND and i dont mean the one in south bend, but i do like him as well. mond is a sleeper too. my real wish is mason signed back and one of these guys added to bring along after this season.

For me though the issue does not pertain to the pick itself but the position. Yes, Quarterback is the most important position in all of Team Based Professional Sports. That said, reaching for any position is never a good idea; doubly so for the QB position. The player always must come first before the position.

Reaching for someone like Trask is the equivalent of the Minnesota Vikings reaching for Christian Ponder, in my opinion. I do understand that the team needs a QB. However, 2021 is not the year to go for one.

Fair enough. That said, I still would not put Trask in Round 1 Territory. Trading up for him in Round Two would make more sense if he is within striking distance but Round One is always about finding the Best Player Available. Plenty of talent at 24 to choose from and plenty more to decide on.

Given the fact that Offensive Tackle, Cornerback and Running Back have the biggest depth of any of the positions in this draft, my guess is that the team will likely select one of these three options for BPA; whichever of the three is the highest rated on their board. If not, move down to Interior Offensive Lineman... or more specifically Wyatt Davis as he has All Pro Potential in my view. Continue onward with Inside Linebacker... or, yet again, specifically Dylan Moses.

I know you realize how much of a reach those two were. Maybe one or the other but certainly not both!!! :)

I certainly would worry if we waited until the 6th round to grab an O-lineman

Why? We have had many starters that were udfas for years. This draft is very deep on the O line, if any year to do it this would be the one.

That's what I thought, I wouldn't mind his teammate RB Trey Sermons in the 4th round.

The left side was undrafted, but the rest of the line consisted of 2 first rounders and 1 2nd rounder
