I think the biggest problem on Steelers offense is 1st down.

It seems that no gains and negative plays always seem to kill the Steelers on 1st down.

Lack of the running game may have some to do with this, drop balls, bad play calls.

If Steelers can start getting some yards on 1st down, I think the offense can get out of the rut the are in.

2nd and 12, 2nd and 13, and 2nd and 10 aren't beneficial to keeping drives going and moving the sticks.

Seems like the extreme Achilles hill to the offense, that and any short yardage situation.

Dropped passes, Ben’s deep ball is terrible. Puts us in way too many 2nd and long etc. the o-lime can’t run block to save their lives. Make no mistake that Washington defense is solid, but our run blocking is terrible. To be honest I’m really not sure the pass blocking is that much better. It’s just covered up by Ben dumping the ball before rushers can get there. The drops are asinine to say the least. Ebron has always been known to drop some, but he has 7 in two games. That’s more drops than sweet had for a career. Johnson was supposedly sure handed, but seems to be afraid of getting hit or something. Nobody is biting on the fake jet sweep. Need to come up with a new trick or two to replace that one
