10th anniversary since our last Super Bowl

Will we finally do something? Since our last SB appearance we went 3-5 in the playoffs, 1 AFC championship loss. It's been a drought sort to speak, although the chin went a full 10 years between SB berths. Tomlin has been a little more successful in the 11 years he's been here compared to Bills tenure.

Problem is.

Bill didn't have prime Ben, Brown, and Bell. People will mention defense well Tomlin had the best overall defense in 2007, 2008, (top 5 in 2009), 2010, 2011, (top 5 in 2012).

As a Steelers fan I'm spoiled. I'm also not necessarily a Tomlin basher, but I have my quirks.

Top 3 quarterback, top 3 line, best WR in the league, top 3 rb. It's beginning to get to that time where I look at this team and just say... "do something".

 

It will be 10 years in February. Many opportunities squandered during those 10 years.

 

I guess this season will be telling what they did within this window. Yes, lot's of opportunities but not our fault there is a juggernaut that just doesn't go away lol. Thank god Brady died in 2008 otherwise we would be sitting with 5.

 

Yeah, only NFC East teams can beat the Patriots when it counts.. minus the Cowboys and Redskins.

The Broncos and Ravens weren't too shabby vs. Patriots, too. They put up a better fight than the Steelers ever did.

 

In comparison, as my good friend Billy Crystal said a few years ago about the Cubs lament: "You know.... you're going to have a bad century every once in a while."

 

On the plus side, we haven't had a losing season in 15 years (2003). What Brown and Jet fans would give for the same stretch.

 

Unacceptable. Tomlin is under the gun this season.
