I would not bet on them getting in, but looking at who plays who the rest of the way, i also would not count them out yet

while we are in the realm of fantasy- (thanks to the Espn playoff machine for this) it's "possible" for this scenario to unfold-

Steelers win v Ten, @ KC, v Cleveland - 9-6-1
Ravens lose out to GB, @ Cincy, LA Rams - 8-8
Bengals lose to Denver and KC, beat Baltimore- 8-8
Browns split with the Raiders and GB, lose to the Steelers- 8-8

which would have the division clinched with a week to go making the Ravens games meaningless.

 

I see 3 more wins. I thought 4, but We lost 2 Vikings.....So now 3.

 

The way I look at it, we're going to watch. Might as well hope they have enough plays in them on both sides of the ball to make the playoffs. Since this team seems to have some semblance of a heartbeat, they haven't swirled down the drain like I thought. So, that sort of nixes the idea of them getting a top ten draft choice. Might as well go out in a blaze of glory.

So, the answer to when is the last time the Steelers finished last in the AFC North, would be NEVER.

The most consistent teams in the division right now are the Bengals and Browns, more so the Bengals.

I think in the long run as that plays out they will be atop AFC North when the season ends.

I agree, in the past, the only team in the division that we had to worry about was the Rats. But the other two have stepped up their game and even the teams in the AFC East (Bills, Dolphins). Interesting league now.

With the inconsistencies of this team I highly doubt we go 3-0 vs Titans Browns and Ravens. Unless Mahomes gets hurt no way in hell we are beating a peaking KC team. 2-1 maybe which would get us to 8-8-1 and forever immortalize MT
