Didn't Trubisky have a 13 win season with the Bears? Gone are the days when a team will have a backup like Steve Young on the 49ers.
Because they're both veteran QBs who have won games in the NFL, I doubt you will find a better #3 QB than Rudolph in the league.
I'm not surprised by this signing at all, they weren't going to pay Trubisky 8 million to be a backup.

I'm surprised Rudolph couldn't find a job with another team, you have teams like the Rams or Cardinals their QB depth isn't great.
Context?
bump :hehehe:
Mason would be one of the better #3 QBs in the league, the 49ers in the playoffs had to turn to Josh Johnson .

I was thinking they could get him at #32, I never thought he would fall to the third round, it worked out well for the Steelers .
I remember when Dupree was visiting the Steelers, Kaboly was saying it's not a good sign if the player leaves town without signing.
I didn't say it was a groundbreaking take, but I was one of the first ones on here to say the Steelers should draft him .
[MEDIA] I would rather have Mason as #3 QB, than some rookie like Tanner Morgan.
[MEDIA] Van Noy or Golden would be good depth as the #3 OLB.
[MEDIA] Like I said before the draft Washington could be like having a 6th OL on the field.
The best part was watching Harrison lose in the Super Bowl with the Patriots, I remember him walking off the field as the confetti was dropping...
Derek isn't coming back, there is talk Connor Heyward will play some FB, they also signed a FB as an UDFA.
