You do realize the cap will go up again next year, some guys will be cut too (Ogunjobi possibly).
Wilson threw for 26 TDs and only 8 interceptions on a bad Denver team, if he puts up similar stats this season they have a QB.
The Steelers got a good look at Aiyuk last season when he torched them for over 100 yards and 2 TDs.
I don't see any team giving the 49ers two 1st round picks for Aiyuk.
They didn't sign Russell Wilson because they think they're in transition.
I don't think the 49ers wanted to meet his asking price.
