Steelers did it in 2001 with the drafting of Casey Hampton and Kendrell Bell. Bell was an excellent ILB until the injury bug hit.
The results would likely be the same whether Trubisky starts or Rudolph starts. I don't see much, if not any improvement at QB by starting...
