Could we now trade for a QB?

I just value draft capital too much I guess. Allen and Herbert are great young QBs, that’s for sure. The issue though is if a team is willing to depart with a quarterback there’s usually a reason. The quarterbacks most mentioned in terms of trade fodder for multiple first round draft picks were Russell Wilson and DeSean Jackson. Wilson left Seattle on not so good terms and was apparently all about his brand and Jackson’s issues are well known. I’m keeping my draft picks and taking my chances.

You are correct…I do mean DeSean Watson the QB, not DeSean Jackson, the WR. My mistake.

Ryan traded for a third round pick to the colts and planning to restructure to benefit the colts.

Drafting a QB the Steelers like makes sense if one happens to drop to them.

But trading for another would make no sense to me. At this point in FA you're not going to get any kind of QB who can lead you to a SB. You're better off taking a gamble (like Trubisky) or just drafting someone you like and hoping for the best.

Browns won't trade him here. I'd take him over the current qbs on the roster though.

He was going to sign a restructure giving 20 this year and next. But failclowns jacked that up with trying to hide it that Watson was being looked at to come in.

I live in Georgia. Failclowns did him dirty. Basically the owner tried telling the media Ryan knew and was fine with Watson coming in. But Ryan's sister in law went to the media saying their owner is a liar.

And a few days before Ryan was going to restructure for 2 years of 20 each.

So Ryan is ticked. And probably told them he wasn't going to play.

..... I wouldn't be shocked to hear Ryan restructures for a 3 year deal of 55 million..

Gimme Trubisky all day... Mayfield has led the ENTIRE LEAGUE in interceptions since he was drafted!!!!!This perception that he is good, is crazy to me!

I could deal with Baker. But I look forward to see what trubisky does with a real team. And not have to deal with Nagy

He's not good. He's below average. But trubisky is even worse.

I think Trubisky has a slight edge, but not much....unless I'm completely wrong, and Trubisky is better than what I have seen, and think.

You are not wrong he is as bad as you imagine. Still probably better than Mason though so there is that?

Ryan winds up going to the Colts for a 3rd round pick.
For a 3rd round pick you get a 37-year-old QB who maybe has 2 seasons.
Ryan has been durable throughout his career, but I don't know if he's drank from the Tom Brady fountain of youth.
He can get you some wins and buy time for a better year of QB's coming out of college.

I'm not sure where Mayfield goes. 92 TD's and 56 picks... tough sell.
    Someone will overpay.

Seahawks would be my best but for what price. That said, Mayfield is going to learn the hard way for certain. Cleveland still possesses one of the best Offensive Lines and Baker still could not do much with it.

Seattle's Offensive Line is notorious for being one of the worst overall. How Russel Wilson survived as long as he did remains a mystery to me. I know that Baker will not long under center.
