DJ doesn't strike me as a vocal leader, I'm sure they will sign a veteran WR.

Pass on both, injuries have taken a toll on them recently.

Yes, one in the draft and one in free agency would be ideal

I expect they might re-up Diontae so they might be reluctant to bring in an expensive free agent though. IDK, we will see.

This is a great draft to do it the same!! Plenty of talent available. My personal favorite aspect of this draft is the number of speedster at the WR. Just about one to two players in every round to nab one. Pittsburgh will have plenty of chances for certain.

    All good!!

All I am stating is that he brings with him is a very savvy yet responsible level of leadership; one that this team has not had in some time. Having him on board would go a long way for certain.

I guess the Steelers were never in it with a contract like that.

With those draft picks they got from the Dolphins they could've gotten a cheaper option at WR.

They are in win now mode so I guess they rather give with proven talent then relying in a rookie.

Is there any team that's NOT in "win now" mode? Kinda the point of competitive sports, no?

    ....

    Guys....

Kansas City's point of trading Tyreek Hill has a lot more to do with upgrading the DEFENSVIE side of the ball more so than the Offensive Side. For that matter, anyone expecting the Chiefs to land the next "Tyreek Hill" is not understanding the optics of how/what the Chiefs need heading into 2022. For one, their pass rush still is not good enough.. and that is including Frank Clark and Chris Jones together. Not just that, what about the Cornerback position?! L'Jarius Sneed... that is more or less what the Chiefs have in terms of that position. Given the fact that the Steelers are likely to trade up for a QB (they have given just about all indications they would have), players like Andrew Booth can be available. If anything, let us not count out Kaiir Elam for them either.

Again everyone... context. Very deep and very talented WR Class. For that matter, said position has been that way since 2017 and has not showed any signs of slowing down. One final note, Calvin Austin III from Memphis or Deven Thompkins from Utah State are two of the best speedsters tailor made for Andy Reid's Offense... and both can be had for either late Day 2 or early Day Three picks. In addition, Kansas City now has 12 picks; allowing them to maneuver the NFL Draft however they see fit to fit their needs.

In short? Tyreek Hill will realize that Tua is not Patrick Mahomes; Jaylen Waddle the same. While that will happen, the Kansas City Chiefs will boost their team's overall roster and will have a more balanced team heading into 2022 in part of it despite the loss of explosive capabilities that Hill provided.

Someone says something that sparks a thought in My brain, and I'm off on a tangent about something that has nothing 2 do with said post.. LoL
    Sorry people.
