This has been one of the toughest years I can remember the offense is plain ugly and hard to watch we are good but some of the play calls are awful..we dont help the defense there is no fear teams just smack us around tonight was bad

We would have to go back to the Brister years for an offense as inept as the one we have now.

Why you ask? Well. That is pretty much the crux of every debate in every thread on the MB. Coaching, scheme, time management, in-game adjustments, OL, DL, LBs, QB, and on and on and on. It just seems to be all around bad.

Why? Well, IMO it goes to the very top. There doesn't seem to be a culture of winning here any more. Art II needs to clean house and bring in the right leadership to rebuild the right culture. Tomlin and Colbert have run the course and need to go. Time for massive change. Doubt Art II has the balls or drive to do it.

One of the most annoying things is hearing every year that the Browns are contenders. They have 1 playoff win in the last 23 seasons but I can't remember who they beat I may have suppressed the memory.

    Hey Knox.

    Your Quote:

"Tomlin and Colbert have run the course and need to go."

Yes, yes, they have. Even the best of the best has to hang it up at some point. Tomlin stated somewhere recently that he has:

"The greatest job in the World"
and why would he give it up.

I believe it was when he was asked recently about taking a College Coaching job. That is a scary statement when one analyzes it.

It as if he knows the Rooney's will leave it up to him when it is time to go. WOW! really?

What is it that the Steelers' Brass does not see here with the consistent year by year EROSION of the Pittsburgh Steelers under this Coaching Administration and Mr. Colbert? Often fans are right when they say that we do not know what is going on behind closed doors per se. However, the doors have been left wide open for the whole World to see the "Affairs" of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the showing is both abysmal as well as embarrassing.

Kordell of '99 was awful too... and I like Stewart... he was a good QB in '97 and '01 seasons.

Difference was, there was a time no matter who our Qb was ,or How bad He was .....We could still run the ball, and play Defense. Now We can't even do that.

Just a dumb play call any way you look at it. I wanted to give Canada a chance but some of his decisions are baffling.

39 year old QB is part of the issue. Not mobile enough to overcome the young offensive line. Age.

The cupboard is pretty bare due to age, injuries, inexperience etc… but a decent chef and staff could scratch something up a bit more savory with this roster in my opinion.

Art’s been watching the sign on his diner dim for a little while now… seems just like every other nice joint left for the kids to ruin.

That play was over before it started , you don't suspect Ingram saw it in practice, he ran right to the outside knowing that's where it was headed.
Okorafor was too slow to get to the edge all he did was shove the DE into the play not out of the play.
Canada making bad decisions with play calling and Ben just makes the wrong reads on quite a few passes.
Ray Ray getting more balls than Diontae or Claypool is ridiculous. Tomlin answers with some cryptic BS about how the others were being played. If they can't get open maybe design some better routes.
