Harbaugh goes for 2 again and fails. So that's two games his analytics team have cost the team a shot at OT and instead earned a loss. This game Huntley had the Packers D on the ropes I'd have played for OT.

I said on the Steelers board that I understood his decision to go for two and the win against the Steelers because he was out of DB's even though I didn't agree with it. Today was foolish. If he hadn't handed GB excellent FP after a failed fourth down try earlier in the quarter when GB scored a TD on the subsequent drive, you wouldn't have put yourself in that position in the first place.

Analytics often replaces common sense, it's flawed for sure.

The way Huntley was playing I'd have said to hell with the numbers we want OT.

I am an Army fan and I have seen them lose two games this year to that analytics stuff. I am not a big fan.

Good think for us Huntley never seen the wide open Wr in the back of the endzone on that 2 point conversion against GB.

Could someone tell me, when you have the best kicker/generational kicker
on your team and for 2 weeks in a row you never give him an opportunity to win games.
I just can't believe this philosophy. Could someone explain to me?

I believe, he believes he is in first place in the division, with 3 games to go, and wrst case scenario he gets in the playoffs with a wildcard:shrug:

Idiot makes the wrong decision against us, then doubles down yesterday against GB. Then keeps digging the hole deeper defending his lunacy. Just admit you F@#%ed up and move ahead. Or better, just keep doing dumb crap. Analytics is one thing, but it ought to pass the smell test.

If the dumba$$ doesn't go for it earlier, and kicks a freaking field goal .....He doesn't need the 2 point conversion.

Agreed. There's a place for analytics, but some people rely on them far too much.

That's what I thought. Real bright, Hairball. Goes for it on 4th down and gives the ball back to one of the top NFL QB's on a short field and he promptly marches them down the rest of the way for the TD.

He doesn't have a ton of experience. Probably have a better idea towards the end of next year.

I agree, but most of the Qbs that seem 2 Hit (lately) seem 2 hit right out the gate. Maybe I'm not remembering the last 6 years of Drafts correct .

Marquise Brown was the 2nd read but Huntley just stared down Andrews against a defense in zone. Huntley played a great game but blew it on the 2 pt.

There are interviews where Harbaugh confirms there were designed routes coming back on the play and that Huntley never saw Brown #5.

Huntley has been playing great as a backup. Reminds me of Rudolph's first 3 games when he had 6 TD 2 INT +100 rating.

Yeah I thought forsure He was going 2 throw 2 Brown in the back.
I guess He just didn't see Him. I can give Him a pass because He's not that experienced .

Exactly. Finally someone agrees rather than just trashing the call. No one should blame Huntley he played great to even be in that position. There are calls to have him replace Jackson.

I like Him better than Lamar, but Don't get Me started on that subject. I make many mad about it.
    So....Here is Me dropping it.

I think the sample size is too small. Lamar is Daltonesque when it matters is what I've seen. I don't like running QBs generally and I'm amazed Lamar hasn't been hurt more with his build.

Huntley plays well because he's a bit better pure passer than Jackson.

Benefits from the way teams prepare to face the Ravens and the way they built the offense. I mean Duck looked good until teams figured out how limited he was with his reads in the offense. Started disguising a dropping LB right to where his hot read was every time and blammo INT's and incompletes.

I thought the same thing about Huntley. He looks pretty good now, but it might get tougher for him when there is more video to study. I also agree that he does look more natural and comfortable than Jackson as a passer.

That's a play Lamar might actually make because of his running around style. Normally how he gets those good completions to brown.
