Breaking down all 4 teams schedules these last 4 weeks here is how the Steelers get to 9-7-1 and can win the division even if they beat the Titans this week and lose in Kansas City next week and are 7-7-1 the day after Christmas. So here goes below with each teams schedule and what they need to do in order for the Steelers to win the North at 9-7-1

    Ravens:

    Packers:Loss
    Bengals:Loss
    Rams: Win
    Steelers: Loss

    Finish 9-8

    Bengals:

Loss at either Denver this week or at Cleveland the final week of the season. A loss in either game will work.
    Ravens Win
    Chiefs Loss

    Finish 9-8

    Browns:

Raiders: The Browns can win this game on Saturday it won’t really matter if they do as long as they lose at the Green Bay and at Pittsburgh the next 2 weeks.
    Packers:Loss
    Steelers:Loss
Bengals: Want the Browns to win this game in Cleveland against the Bengals incase the Bengals win at Denver this week and beat the Ravens the following week and lose against KC and the Bengals are 9-7 going into the Browns game.

Browns finish either 8-9 or 9-8 depending how the final game goes against the Bengals. Either way not enough to overtake the Steelers at 9-7-1

    Steelers:

    Titans: Win
    Chiefs:Loss
    Browns:Win
    Ravens: Win

    Finish 9-7-1

So there it is about as simple as I could make it out to be. A lot of course has to happen but looking at things at first glance it’s not completely impossible to suggest that all that can fall the Steelers way if they handle their business and do what they are supposed to do and finish 9-7-1.

I liked your 10-6-1 much better.

If we can beat Tenn. my hope will rise again.

Yet again... Steelers are depending on other teams in December to scramble to get into playoffs. It's all moot, IMO. Steelers likely will go 1-3 or 0-4 in the next 4 games. This is not a playoff team and would be a waste of a spot.

One and done again if we make it, no thanks and it ensures another winning season and no warmth on thy seat

I do agree it's not a playoff team and wouldn't go anywhere if they got breaks and made it in but I still want them to make it. Steelers have had many sure wins in the Playoffs under Tomlin that we fell flat on our face as a terrible unprepared team. Ironic if we get in and this time we upset the favored team.

We were the first 6th seed to win a SB. How cool to be the first 7th seed to do it!! OK fantasy over:)

The difference between the 2005 Steelers and 2021 Steelers is astronomical. Look no further than the O-lines and D-lines.

Just heard that the Browns team is decimated with covid. Mayfield, Landry, and a ton of other starters are out with covid.

Biggest challenge in all of this is Steelers getting to 7, then 8, then 9 wins.

Should Steelers be 9-7-1 and the other 3 be 9-8, that would be amazing.

Every team is depending on other teams to get into the playoffs. All the more so this season. Pretty much every team bar perhaps Arizona has been massively inconsistent, and the Ravens are damn lucky to have the record they've got.

It’s not implausible, but the hardest part will be the Steelers finding a way to win those three games. I can easily see a 9-8 team winning the North. 10-7 wins it easily IMO. Basically every team in the AFC North is a 7 seed caliber team.

Lots of teams that make the playoffs aren't "playoff caliber" teams. Happens every year. Heck some of those teams actually go on to win a game or three in the playoffs too. Do I think we will go 3-1 the last 4 weeks of the season? probably not. Do I want us to? Hell yeah, even if it means we are looking at yet another 21-0 first quarter home playoff deficit Coach T style.

The Giants 2011 team had to go 3-1 to finish the season to get in at 9-7. That team won the super bowl. Not saying that's the norm, but crazier stuff has happened than a team that has a future HoF QB and the best defensive player in football on the same team finding a way to make some noise at the end of the season.

If the doctors come in to my hospital room, and tell my family that I have a 10% chance of making it, I want this guy in my corner.

Well we may not be good as a team, but our Qb is better than ravens, or the browns so We will beat them. I still see us going 9-7-1. Will it be enough??????

Titans: Some think the Titans game is a given win. Huh? They are 9-4. And are a better team. They are 4-2 away. Loss
Chiefs: Getting them at the wrong time. Beginning of the season maybe a chance. Maybe. Loss
Clowns: They will be fighting for a playoff spot. Its going to be a dog fight. Loss/Win
Crows: They to will be playing for seeding and I believe Hairball will be playing to win because of the rivalry. Win. Bens goes out beating the crows.

7-9 and a stupid tie. Even if they beat the clowns it ends up 8-8-1. They miss the playoffs. The tie was a joke.

I don't think anyone feels the titans game is a given win.....I certainly don't even know what a given win is, but I still believe We beat the titans, browns, and ravens.

I'll say this for the NFL, a lower seed has a chance. Just have to get hot at right time. NYG did it in 2011. Steelers had to win 3 road games to reach one of their SB's. Long shot for sure but still a shot.

So, the steelers need to finish 3-1 for their last 4 games. Then the other 3 division teams need to all 1-3. Yeah, that could happen.....

I honestly believe browns, and ravens will do exactly that. Now the bengals are a different matter.

This Titans game is exactly the kind of game we usually win....giving us just enough of a window to keep hoping. If this is Ben's final season...I really hope we make the dance.

Not exactly. The Ravens have to go 1-3, and the Browns and Bengals 2-2. I think there’s a good chance that nobody gets to 10 wins in our division. The more unlikely part IMO is us going 3-1 to take advantage.

Bengals about to win and Ravens trailing by 7 with 4 minutes left. Needed the Bengals to lose in Denver. Not a killer but it doesn’t help the Steelers much.
