If Spillane can't play because of injury, sub these guys in for an ineffective Bush.

    I hope so.

They basically gave Devin Bush a shot then benched him for Spillane against the Bengals. That knee injurey happened at the worst possible time.

It's also time to bench Green and Dan Moore.

Winner. It's sure can't hurt, but they won't. When have You ever seen us stop using a number one draft pick....unless injured, or until they are gone...good ,or bad.

Where is Buddy Johnson? Could he possibly be worse than Bush?

Has only been active once and has only played a few ST snaps, no way he is ready.

Allen / UG3 are the only realistic options unless I’m missing someone.

There is no way you can put Devin Bush out there again given the level of effort he has shown

Of the two options; get UG3. After Justin Layne and Miles Killebrew, UG3 is third on the Defense in Special Teams Tackles per team rankings (fourth if one factors in Robert Spillane). I do not know how much of his athletic ability is shot but I do know that he, at the very least, will give some serious effort and desire to make plays.

    Same goes for Marcus Allen.

Allen's got ten times the toughness/heart Bush is playing with right now.

My recollection from watching Buddy’s tape last spring is that he is good vs. the run, and lousy vs. the pass. This is the Ravens, with one of the league’s best running backs playing QB. Play Buddy.

i'd go with 3 safeties in this one because of andrews. killebrew gives you some in the box presence and some pass defense capabilities.

10 spots gone...he is a mental midget at this point. No heart. No toughness. Daddy calling talk shows.

But if they sit him he will curl up in a shell and pout.

A change has to be made. Johnson, anyone with some balls.

If its the knee then say it and sit him! But sadly its not.

I think Marcus Allen offers the best upside of the 3. Bush has to sit at this point.

As a former Zip player, I'd love to see UGIII in there but he seems to be made of glass and may not last once he is plays regularly. We'll never know until we try, I guess. Go Zips

Did you guys miss watching Marcus Allen play ILB last year? I didn't he was awful. He's a tweener guy too small to play ILB not fast enough to be an NFL saftey. So he is glorified special teamer, and he's good at that.

I rather see what Buddy Johnson has because, so far I haven't had much of a chance too. UG3 is a dud he brings no upside.

Allen is nothing more than a decent special teams player.

Bush will still start maybe at some point he will find his game again, because he has down right lost it.

He would be the last option IMO, he was signed for his special teams play, which is pretty good.

You remember the play where Mixon was struggling for another yard and instead of going in for the kill shot...Bush literally tried to just shove Mixon down with this arms.

Maybe Bush has other injuries he doesnt want to publicize because that was so strange to see him not want to engage with the runner.

he's been doing that. his lack of effort is terrible this year. knee injury or not he simply isn't giving much effort. to the bench with him.

Keep playing Bush, season is lost, get him right for next year.

None of those guys can play QB either, so…..

There's a reason Killebrew hardly played on defense with the Lions, he was signed for his special teams ability, Allen played decent in the preseason FWIW.
