Then prepare to be disappointed because that will only change if ownership changes and obviously that isn't happening.

Tampa??? They signed Brady and won 1 Super Bowl. Lets see what they do this year before we even loosely consider them a dynasty.

In one season they’ve won more post season games than we have in 10 years . If someone thinks we were a dynasty then yea the bucs are worth consideration.

but I was being smart ass because they won a sb…. They could win more.

I’d settle for getting better coordinators and position coaches. Promoting from within has not been working. Sarrett was a disaster, Canada is looking like a bad appointment as well. Not sure about Klemm because he has t exactly had much to work with.

We all know they are not getting rid of Tomlin but this persistence with promoting inexperienced coaches to key positions when other proven candidates are available is baffling. Surely it can’t be about money given the revenue a team like the Steelers take in. I just don’t get it.

Is it coincidence that in each of the past four seasons, as soon as Tomlin starts getting national attention the collapse ensues soonafter. From 2018 to 2020, his name was coming up in COTY conversations when the bottom fell out.

This year he passed Cowher in all time wins and got national pub for that, they haven't won since.

Probably coincidence, they were playing poorly even while winning against bad teams and backup QBs.

Steelers are no dynasty either. Had we won in 10 it might be different. Either way that time has long since past. That was 11 years ago.

    2019: 8-5 turns to 8-8
    2020: 11-0 turns to 12-4

Added up 3-13-1, which is interestingly enough a 17 game total just like the new schedules are.

Dynasty? More like the fall of an above-average perennial contender.

At this point I think that going 3-3 down the stretch to preserve Tomlin’s streak of non losing seasons is the best realistic outcome.

Even in our " down " years or " lesser" teams...It was still fun to watch the games, hard nosed, tough D's ...played good Ass Defense, and NOBODY ran on us! This team, and these Tomlin lead teams of the last few years are pitiful!

No heart, Teams run at will on us, no toughness, the opposing teams LAUGH at us!

I NEVER thought, I'd see a PITTSBURGH teams that was Gutless, AND soft!

    Well, It's here!

We're going to be a middle of the road NFL franchise if we continue with the status quo.

I wonder if you disliked Dan Rooney this much? No seriously, you seem to have quite the disdain for AR 2.

Dynasty? Steelers haven't been a dynasty since the 1970s. Patriots had the 00's dynasty and 10's dynasty covered... even when Steelers won in 05 and 08.

Some of you people are smoking some serious Meth.

Steelers are the Cowboys of the 70s but worse. Those teams actually went to Super Bowls. Steelers will not sniff a Super Bowl in the next 5 years at least.

But hey...we got Watt and Harris.

Steelersdepot were saying because Dupree is injured that could lower the Steelers comp pick to a 4th rd comp pick.

Yep, with the calculations it could. I just haven't seen any new configurations, so I've been sticking (hoping?) for the original third.

I didn't care for Dan much but that was a long time ago. Deuce has run my favorite team into the ground after a decade of coming up short. This coaching staff is bad and has been for a long time. I've made clear how much I don't like Tomlin (the coach - he's a great man). Art2 is perfectly happy to continue employing Mike though because 3-in-52 matters most. The damaging loyalty extends to the broken QB as well. And now, he has made this rebuild longer than it needed to be, not that it will matter if he doesn't find a competent coaching staff.

Tampa needs at least 2 more for that convo.

Unless you want to talk about the goat because he is/was on both teams.

Guys, don't be upset. I wish we had him too.

Tomlin has sucked since Super Bowl XLV. Time to cut away the dead wood.
