    Here is more context as to what my statement regarding the Offense was about from a previous post;

    Having Najee Harris and an Offensive Line with growing pains is one aspect. Trusting them is another. Does these disparaging figures mean that Canada is attempting to protect Najee or does not believe that the Offensive Line and Najee himself can win consistently in the trenches?!

    Something is amiss here.

    This team isn’t winning with Rogers. At this point there are just too many holes. They’re looking at a multi-year rebuild. It doesn’t make sense to give up draft picks for an older QB that likely only has a couple of good years left.

    What we need is more cowbell we should for sure try 3 flea flickers per game I also think the 7 hike snap count works often

    Not only that he could retire tomorrow and I wouldn’t be surprised.

    I agree with you there. He was a game manager and didn’t have to win the game. I wish Mason had the benefit of everything Ben did. The two things he is missing is the solid O-line and all pro receivers. We have a solid running back and a good defense, although they didn’t show it today against the run.

    Not really. However and, again, I was not referring to merely this time. I am referring to past instances within this season; the Seahawks game being a prime example.

    Balance is key for certain; doubly so when the elements are applied. That said, having that consistency in that balance is one of many aspects that separates good teams from great teams.

    Why didn't Tomlin accept that holding call in ot that would've had Goff in a 3rd and 33 backed up close to there 20. Fu*# Tomlin, you know we don't have any return game and there punter is quality, play the field position game Tomlin, especially in ot

    There were many plays on both sides of the ball to be disgusted with. But, the one play that angered me more than any other was the pathetic effort by the back of the defense on Detroit's 42 yard TD run. Some of those guys, especially Fitz and Bush, should be crawling under the table to hide when the coaches break that disaster down. There have been too many lapses during games this year where the tackling has been awful, just awful. It angers me because it is basic football. Tackle, run, block catch and throw. It's pretty bad when veterans could learn something from watching JP tackle. He and Norwood have been bright spot (well, Cam has been decent) in an otherwise lackluster secondary.

    100%. It's easier to name the positions where they don't need immediate draft/FA help - EDGE, RB, TE, K.

    That's it.

    Gonna take multiple years.

    They have been in a multi year rebuild for multiple years now. Doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize Mason is not the answer but they are not addressing it.

    To address it properly they need to tank. But they’re committed to being competitive every year. They’re not likely to find a decent QB drafting where they are.

    Yup. Johnson and Freiermuth both fumbled away drives that should have led to a game-winning field goal attempt, though I'm not sure if they had enough time to get the ball spiked and kick it even if Freiermuth hadn't fumbled.

    Well Maddog, you know I'd tell you if I thought you were full of it, but I can't dispute this. True, we are not in the film room when they break it down, but past circumstances would dictate that nothing negative comes from poor tackling, among many other things. Edmunds, Bush and Fitzpatrick have been the poster children for p!ss poor tackling all year.
