Don't expect Tuitt back anytime soon

Dang.
I was get my Hopes up 2 see Him playing soon.

 

Unfortunately he is done as far as I can see into it. Mentally and physically not the same as he was in the past. Just speculating but this subject has been unusually silent which tells me all is not well.

 

On the plus side if he does make it back by seasons end he will either be really motivated (beast mode) or he will just be going through the motions and be pedestrian. I don't think there will be any grey area.

 

I took this as the opposite... He's progressing, but not imminent " does not mean, no time soon

 

Doesn't he have to come back in a few weeks or he is on IR rest of season?

 

If he's not on the active squad by the end of the day Friday he's done. It will have been 3 weeks from the time he started practicing with the team again.

 

He is done, he isnt hurt its all mental now.... prob wont play again

This is just my opinion Glenn. There is no normal weekly MT injury update information being provided and therefore I do not believe that we will see Tuitt anytime soon and probably not at all this season. There are no progress reports for how he is coming along in his injury rehab which MT typically provides. As I stated, I am just speculating but those are my thoughts alone.

If you have a crystal ball then please share it with me as some of us always seem to be wrong on every subject in your mind.

He made comments about Haeg possibly getting a hat instead of Banner, too. Might be time for both to get on with their life's work.

 

This basically has crossed my mind as well. Something is definitely not right with this situation…

 

when do you remember a situation as strange and borderline secretive as this?! He’s been out half the year, and reading between the lines of what Tomlin said, is NOWHERE close to returning.

 

Yeah he's faking a injury , they showed him practicing on his own a few weeks ago with a knee brace on .

 

Doesn't Haeg play the swing tackle role? Banner is strictly a RT, that could be the reason.

 

You have to keep in mind: it’s Tomlin talking. “Not imminent” doesn’t have the same meaning as it would if said by a native-English speaker.

I have so much trouble wrapping my head around this $$$$ thing. Generally speaking money is a great motivator. I remember that comedian Dave Chappelle turned down something like 40-50 million because of some head trips.

 

I expect him back when he is supposed to be. It would be nice to know when that is though.

I've read that he has a knee injury and minor surgery to clean it up. Taking longer to heal than expected. He's attending meetings and doing individual practice. Reported that he looks slim and in shape. The stuff about his mental state is pretty much nonsense until proven to be true.

 

It's really not been all that secretive. They've talked about it although not alot. Who else that is hurt do you know much more info about?
What about McFarland? Know anything concrete about his progress? Carlos Davis?
They're always tight lipped about injuries.

 

When he's back he's back. It's unfortunate. They restructured his contract as well.

To who? Who would take him? He first of all can't stay healthy and who knows about his mental state. He is signed through 2022.

He is in the building doing some drills/ running and attending meetings but remains on IR. Once he returns to practice they have 21 days to activate him to the 53 or he will be placed on IR for the rest of the season.
