Yes he needs to play every game. We need a top 10 pick next year.

It is the 4th and 10 that is driving me crazy.

This is Ben just getting rid of the ball because it was the end of the game and he really doesn't care anymore.

A young Ben would have bought time and forced it into the end zone, or even tried to buy a little more time and been sacked because of it. He wouldn't have dumped it off just to get the ball out of his hands. Everyone out there in TV Land is screaming "Hey Ben that was 4th down you idiot!!!"

I would have much rather seen an INT in the end zone that the quick pass.

You’ve said this before, so I looked it up.

    Two seasons later.

I still think Ben is better than Rudolph or Haskins.

    I'm sticking with #7.

My preference would have been to go back to being a run first offense and only have Ben throw 20 times a game. I think it could have worked, but our offensive line is just terrible.

I didn't say how long. I said after they got rid of Canada then they Went and Won a National Championship.
What I said still holds true.
    Does it not????
I mean for example: If We got rid of Mike T, 2 Years later we won a SB, and someone said ....We got rid of Mike T , and We won a SB....would that Be wrong??

I think that's what they're trying to do and it's not working?

It would be factually correct but, I think, misleading to the casual reader. It sounds like as soon as they dumped him, they became wildly successful. Especially in college, two seasons represents a significant change in personnel. You can’t discount that, and I felt your posts kind of did.

I thought the same until I saw the replay. Our LT was beat and Ben was a split second from being sacked. It was a piss poor call or execution and had no chance for success

There is an even better example.
    The team went 8-8.
They get rid of Cowher, and two years later they won a SB.

In 1968 the Steelers went 2-12. They hired Chuck Noll and then went 1-13 in 1969. Should Rooney have fired Noll after 1 season?
Just damn! You want to fire an offensive coordinator with an aging QB and totally revamped line after 3 games? Give the guy a realistic chance before firing him!

Maybe You are correct, but not a lot of teams ...even in college...dump the OC ...Win more games the following Year.....then the following Year Go undefeated, and Win a National Championship. Correct???

They(Steelers)Won a SB the Year before.
LSU didn't win a National Championship even 2 years before that.
Also I'm not saying get rid Of Canada. I'm just saying what I seen.
