According to Tomlin at his presser. He said it could have an impact on him playing this week from what Tomlin said. So looks like we might be having to see Mason Rudolph a lot sooner this year then any of us had hoped.

Ben, Haden, Alualu - 3 thirty-somethings down. Hope Heyward isn't next or this really goes off the rails.

See how Green Bay righted their Offense last night?

Run game heavy and short passes that resembled the run.

The Mannings really opened my eyes about that fix.

Haskins would give us better production at QB than either of those.

Taking one out of Peyton Manning's playbook with the phantom injury in his Last year with Denver.

After the beating he took in the Raider game; Ben could have pointed to any body part and said "I am injured".

I’m more concerned about the losses on the D than Ben playing.

I’m not sure there’s a huge dropoff from Ben to Rudolph at this point. Ben is near the bottom of the pack in QBR and passer rating - doesn’t really matter which metric you use. No it’s not all on him, but the point is it would be difficult to do much worse.

Did he say anything about DJ? They're being real quiet about that one. Injured on a pointless play when the game was over. So stupid with all the injuries this team already has. All I've heard is not long term and he tweeted trust gods timing. I think he's missing a few weeks.

I don’t think he is the answer but I’d try anyone on the roster at this point. You won’t win many games with Ben limited to where he can throw on the filed.

I think it is fair to consider age as a factor for Roethlisberger and Haden, but Alualu just got his leg caught in an awkward position. That sort of injury could easily happen to a 20-something.

I think we all knew Ben should have retired. But oh well, let's figure out what we're going to do.

Steelers are a fighting team every year to be Superbowl contenders. However this year, I think they're going to continue to try to work with what they have.

I would love to hear a trade for Rodgers. However, I think they don't want to pay big money to a second player on the team, and they know Ben will come back to pay here and there throughout his injury season.

Other option is maybe sign Phillip rivers. But that needs to only be a one year deal, and then sign a big QB next year or trade up in the draft for a big name.

They aren't signing another quarterback or making a trade. They are going to live with Roethlisberger. If he can't go, they will play Rudolph. If he fails, it will be Haskins. Those are the only options we can realistically expect the team to follow.

Pretty sure Tomlin said something like, DJ is looking better, but not to be confused with great.

I guess that means his injury isn’t super serious, but he’ll likely miss some time? That’s how I decipher it anyway.

I don't see how trading for a QB or signing a QB is beneficial. An old ass Rivers would get hurt just as easily as Ben, behind this line. And we need as many picks as possible to continue revamping the line and finding a QB of the future. We gotta live or die with what we have.

If Mason is our starting QB on Sunday, I have $100 in my pocket that says Najee goes for over 100 yards!

Well I've been told that the offensive struggles have nothing to do with Ben, so I am not sure why it would matter who the QB is. We should be able to suck just as badly with Rudolph or Haskins out there. There are only so many more spots they can fall down the offensive rankings anyway.

    really?
we haven't been a contender since the 2017 season. we knew last years 11-0 was fools gold. Once the D broke down , it was over. the offense was a joke too last year. we cannot finish a year and we started not finishing this year, this past week......
Darnold was the off-season move, that I opined for.

    we missed that bus.
