Ben gets paid much more to put the ball in a better position. Or does the HOF QB need guys to make circus contested catches every week?

The excuse-making for Ben is embarrassing.

Average QBs throw inside for an easy score.

Many good points and I'll throw my opinion in this discussion. I believe we have the talent to be competitive. Who here thinks the Bills suck? Well, we went into their house and got a W. I didn't expect that but it got me to believe we have something working when everyone is in doing their job. But now we are looking down at an L against a team we're supposed to beat AT HOME. How does this happen? Maybe it was the injuries on the D that made Carr look like a HOFer in the 2nd half. Maybe it was putting the cart before the horse (picking a RB before getting players to open holes for him to run through). I like to think with a team full of professional football players that were picked for their talent, and with being able to win at Buffalo, something else is off which has concerned me for some time. Our team is stale and out of new ideas. Remember opposing D players last year saying they knew what we were running before the play even started. This organizations team leadership has taken this bus as far as I think it can go. We're inconsistent and this ships rudder is all over the place. Who is running the Offense? I really don't know but with all the hype that was being passes around about "Canada's Offense" during the off season, how does everyone feel about it now? Run game, nothing new there except a #1 pick that can't get going very often. Same thing again. Another Claypool end around for negative yardage. Think the other team had that figured out right about the time we broke the huddle? Nothing has changed because the same people running this team are still doing business as usual. Disagree all you want but we are who we are until we aren't and I don't believe its a talent only issue. JMO>

Passes broken up by the defender are not drops. At least two balls that he got his hands on were just very good plays by the defensive back.

You are the one making a claim and failing to back it up. Specifically, which plays are you characterizing as drops?

I'm not doing anything. If I have 2 bring a play up 2 show anyone from a game that was just on Sunday....then they must have not watched the game. Oh wait did Maddog78 just switch 2 his other handle. LoL

Just an answer. Your premise is flawed. A drop is a ball the receiver should catch. If a defender has his hands on the ball, too, it is not a drop.

Hell, forget finding the video. Just tell us which plays you are talking about.

Did you really just accuse me and Maddog of being the same person? lol

No Your premise is flawed. If You get both Your hands on the Ball you need 2 come down with it, or is that something new...nobody does that, or makes them kind of catches???

Occasionally the divas need to make a circus catch. Claypool needs work.

Face it Ben rarely gets the ball in the best spot ,that ball needed to be more outside which would have shielded the defender from getting his hands in there...

I'm pretty sure Benny Snell's and Derek Watt's roles on the team are to make post game dinner reservations during the game, and Dobbs is there to figure out the tip.

I love the fact that Ben has already thrown Canada and Tomlin under the bus after week 2.

Gives me hope that he could be replaced in time for the Steelers to make a run late in the season with Canada's post-Ben offense.
