Well, that brought me to tears. Such a kind, charitable, thoughtful and honest man. A Steeler through and through. Rest well, Tunch. You will be missed.

Never saw him play sadly. That said, I did always enjoy his enthusiasm and analysis when listening to the SNR whenever I could. Truly a great man and may his soul now forever rest in piece. :steelflag:

I am with @TerribleTowelFlying on the glass raise. Don Julio 1942 for me.

Very sad news. Not only did I like Him as a player, but as a talk show Guy, analyst , and Just a Funny Guy. I use 2 Love when He was on SportsBeat with Stan S.
    RIP.

RIP, Tunch was one of the rare guys, universally liked and respected. Too bad he was taken so soon.

A Tunch story: Tunch told the story that his wife had appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated, while he never did. They both went to Indiana St. His wife was a cheerleader for their basketball team during the Larry Bird yrs. SI did a cover with Bird surrounded by their cheerleaders. The title was something like: College Basketballs Best Kept Secret, and all the cheerleaders had their index fingers pressed against their lips, as in saying: shhh!
