QB Platoon

    Starting to hear more talking heads discussing Trey Lance and Jimmy Garoppolo being platooned for the upcoming season.

    How could this even be a consideration? You would have to walk a very fine line for continuity. And you basically cut their reps in half. If you're looking at one as a running QB and the other pocket, then the OL has to adjust blocking for each and the reps gets split there as well. Just seems like you water down the effectiveness of both when you do that.

    Thoughts?

    I believe it's just a ploy 2 make the 1st couple of teams they play think about it, and waste time on it. A psychological tactic, one could say. JMO.

    I think he has some packages for Lance to start out with. Garappolo tends to not finish seasons.
