Scoping out Steelers game 1 opponent

If you get NFL channel and want to see how the Bills are looking they are on at 1:00 against the Bears. Just pre-season of course but just throwing it out for anybody interested.

Now 7:30 tonight I'll be kicked back watching live from Heinz Field since our boys are on NFL channel then. To be honest I was a little surprised they have us on while Tampa Bay is playing at the same time. Maybe it's a market thing??????

 

I was just as surprised as you were that the Steelers are on tv tonight. I'll be working in the yard all day working around the pond and jumping in and out of the pool being that it's supposed to be 91 degrees. Steaks on the grill about 6-ish and beer in the belly. Should be fine tuned for game time.

Might come inside from time to time to check on other games and get some much needed AC.

Regular season can't get here fast enough.

Jealousy. Pure, unadulterated jealousy.

I decided to go back to school and get my Masters Degree. Haven't been on a college campus in years. And why not start back after decades and grab 15 hours right off the bat? Classes started Monday. Unfortunately, on Tuesday morning, a bunch of us got an email from the Vice President of Facilities and Internal Affairs, telling us to quarantine for 5 days before getting tested and not to come on campus because someone in my 8AM class, Monday morning, tested positive. Less than 60 minutes into the semester.

So this week has been a cluster of Zoom classes and such, scrambling to piece together education that no one considered might be impacted by Covid. Somehow, the college wasn't prepared for this scenario. Again, .

Needless to say, I'm feeling a little disjointed right now, and this entire weekend will be me trying to get at least a week ahead of schedule. I'll squeeze in some time for the game, at least half of it. Also, the wife is out of town, so other than feeding my daughter's ball pythons, I don't have anything else on my plate. Frankly, I'd rather be doing yard work and sweating balls.

 

Jealous as well.

I’m working 2-midnight. I’d watch the game after, but I’ll need sleep before Sunday’s 8-8 shift.

 

I'm jealous of the 91°. That's cool where I habitat.

45 minutes working on my riding mower and I was soaked.

Come on Fall! This humidity and high dew point is not for me and it seems to be getting worse!
