Best thing on the internet: training camp edition

I had an english teacher in high school teach us how to dry banana peels...for medicinal purposes only, of course. The rest of my senior year was a blur. (see what I did there?)

But honestly, if you haven't tripped on dried banana peels, you don't know what you're missing.

I had a relative that used 2 do that. I was 2 scared 2 try. LoL.

 

must've been a helluva mid term. Teacher was an Aldous Huxley fan??

 

She was a flower child and a moderate feminist. Most of what we studied (it was an "advanced" English class) was feminist authors, Silvia Plath comes to mind. Young, cute, and approachable, she was rare for a liberal. And out of a class of about 15 of us, there were only 2 guys. Greatest English class ever, for a few reasons. Never hooked up with her, however. But not for lack of trying.

 

As long as it's not mayo. I can't respect mayo.

 

Coincidentally I had a world cultures teacher that nonchalantly snuck in that you could get high smoking banana peels. He did not tell us to dry them though. Next day he asked how many had gone home and tried it. At least a half dozen put their hands up.

 

Oh my lord, no. You can't smoke'm when they're fresh! I'm sure you can get something going with them with persistance, but it'd be like trying to start a campfire with damp wood. I mean...that's what I've heard.

 

Can I interest you in learning about the new faith my younger brother is working on? Chapter 1 verse 1 of the Book of Jeff is puff puff pass. The overarching message of the movement is that it will all buff out.

 

Thanks for the offer, but those days have long passed. My daughter did trick me with an edible a couple years ago when I was having dinner at her place. Holy crap. Rice crispies treat tasted a little strange, but she said a friend made them and I didn't want to be rude. Then my tongue started going numb and I felt like my throat was closing up a bit. She about laughed herself right off the couch when I started telling her I didn't feel right and I thought maybe I ate something bad.

Same happened 2 me with some Cookies.
I shoved one down my throat, and was working on my second when I was told about it. I was like Yeah whatever, and finished my second cookie.
About 45 mins - an hour later ....I was like I have 2 go outside I need some air, or I'm going 2 explode. LoL.
I still don't know why You would eat it.

 

I've eaten worse.

 

Hence the phrase….Just sayin

 

Maybe it was the banana peels. Maybe it was the lsd we laced them with. No one will really know for sure which produced the effects we encountered. But I'm pretty sure it was the banana peels.

It is much easier to do too much with edibles than with smoking or vaping. They just hit differently. Or so I hear.

 

I've only had one edible, but it hit me, hard. So I'll concur.

 

It was the second brownie for me. I just thought they were brownies. They were on this guys dining room table on a nice glass server dusted with powdered sugar. Looked like his grandma made them.
