Thanks 4 the read. I also hope it works. Ward is in my Top 5 all time Steeler players.

Canton used to be an absolute crazy town HOF week back when I lived there in the late 90s. I always had a blast at the bars and the HOF festival. I was hoping I'd make it back there this year but just took a new job out of state.

May be a good thing, I would've had to look closer at every early 20 something kid with a smart azz comment....Turtle Jr????

Perhaps now with the updated Sack Totals via Pro Football Reference in Association with Pro Football Jounral's John Turney, L.C. Greenwood may finally get his due. That said, he is way overdue the fact.

Don't forget Donnie Shell and Bill Nunn as well. Pretty big Steeler contingent for the HOF weekend and game.

I always wore 31 when playing as my tribute to Donnie Shell. Still bummed I'm going to miss being there this year.

They are really expanding the Hall of Fame Village area with some new updates. I think the next attraction is going to be an interactive gaming area. Not sure what that entails but I'm sure the kids will love it.

I'm just glad they got the field updated so that there isn't the same issues they had a few years ago where it gets torn up by seating during the induction ceremony and then the preseason game is played on it in bad shape. Would be a great experience though just to spend a weekend there.

IMO there are 4 eligible Steelers who deserve to be in by now but aren't. LC, Ward, Harrison, and Andy Russell.

Pouncy is the only other retired player with a chance once he's eligible, butt he's unlikely to get in.

AB and Bell were both well on their way until they self sabotaged their careers.

Of the present players with 5 plus years Ben is the only future inductee. It's too early in their careers to talk about Watt or Minkah

AB will have a shot with 4 1st team all-pro selections, but his counting numbers will be slowed as a #3 WR with TB.

I've never really paid much attention to the HOF. Always glad when a Steeler got in but that's about it. I would have thought the crowds for that weekend would be respectful. No reason to have the BS between fan bases. I always thought it was ardent NFL fans who attended it regardless which team they root for.

Maybe just look closer at the 20 something ladies. I'm thinking there would be a lot of smart and sweet azz among them:)

I can't wait, we will be there in person and at least get to see Coach Cowher, Troy and Donnie Shell be inducted. I believe the others will be inducted the following day? I went for the first time to see Bettis, great time!

Won't matter look at Megatron counting numbers and he's first ballot and ab has him beat in every category statically and more accolades. Ab put up the best six year stretch in history, was all decade, 5 all pros, 7 pro bowls, and he has a ring. He's a lock.

AB is getting in. His numbers are comparable to Megatron's, better in some categories. He was the best in the league for a while, top-3 longer. Dominant player.

I can't find the day by day line up. I found who going 2 be there , but not who's playing what days.
I can only make one day of it so I want 2 pick the one with the most bands I like.

Definitely a neat experience and one you have to experience at least once. Seeing Coach Cowher and those Steelers from the 90's, 2000's being inducted is something special. Lol, got to say though, it definitely makes me feel old.
