Doctor Sleep was a great movie, btw, as far as sequels go.

My 2 Favorite books by Him are the same as always. IT, and Shining.
I liked the IT tv. Movie better than the Last movies.

I was a fan of ‘Salem’s lot and Pet Semetary too! Certainly not the movies but the books

    Same. About the books.
I kind of liked the 2nd adaptation of Salem's Lot. I didn't see it when it came out on TV in 2004 , but got the DVD later and Enjoyed it.

I didn't realize they had remade it. I only saw the original with David Soul.

Ahhh! Hutch. Yes I seen that as a kid ,and liked it, but later watched it as an Adult , and didn't so much. You should check out the 2004 adaptation if you get the chance.

No, go way back to 1979. I believe it was shown in two parts. I have read a ton of books that later are turned into movies but never have seen one follow the book as good as this version of Salem's Lot did.

I seen the 70s version once as a kid then later bought it.. I just thought You most be talking about the 2000 version because it was closer 2 the book.

I watched that one in 6th grade, and it scared the crap out of me. There was a tree outside my bedroom window that had branches that would scratch at my window in the wind. Of course for weeks after watching Salem’s Lot, that scratching would freak me out.

I’m looking forward to Chapelwaite. The adaptation of Jerusalem’s Lot. Although Adrian Brody playing the lead might be a bad sign.

    I hadn't even heard about this. Cool.
I think I've only seen one movie with Adrian Brody in it, and I Liked it. He was a piano player on the radio in Poland during WW2. That's the only thing I have 2 judge him by that I can think of.:hmm:

I always thought that story was very Lovecraftian.

It’s on Epix. I think the premiere is on august 22nd, but not positive on that. I had never heard of Epix until Comcast replaced showtime or starz with it. It’s similar to HBO and the like. They’ve got a European series based on War of the Worlds that’s pretty good.
