Ben's knees seem to be something in the line of the Tin Man from what I've read about him getting up after doing some holding for Boswell.

Mr. Canada MUST get Ben back under center and have a running game,
this not only eats up TOP but also limits Ben from throwing over
40 passes a game. And usually to the other team. Najee Harris should be used
atleast 25-30 times a game whether running or catching the ball. This is the only way for
    Steelers to be competitive.

The problem is if the OLine is as bad as last season and Harris is getting hit by 3 guys before the LOS they will abandon the running game even if they intended to use it. That is a very real possibility we should all start wrapping our heads around.

The Oline wasn’t any good in Bells first year, ranked 21st and he still put up nearly 1,000 yards and 300 yards receiving. Having that RB that can actually run routes and act as a receiver and not just a check down option makes a big difference for the defense.

I don’t think the oline is going to be as bad as last year, I think they will be ranked 15-20 at worst at run blocking.

I don't think it's going to happen, but just for a moment, allow yourself to think of the potential this team has right now IF the OL gels and ends up ranked above 15 at run blocking. That's almost porn right there, and not the crappy, Cinemax stuff.

While I agree with Most of this.
I don't agree it's the only way 2 remain competitive.
We did go 12-4 last year.
Yes we lost at the end . So did 31 other teams, but I dont care how You (not meaning You specifically) slice it, flip it, turn it on its head, or say it....12 - 4 is competitive.

But it’s not just that they lost at the end of the year it how they looked. I’d argue by Seasons end we had a bottom 5 offense in the NFL. It was brutal to even watch from a fan’s perspective

it wasn't only Tomlin to blame.

Pouncey's bad snap set the tone and no effort by a Steeler to recover it just looked terrible.

Some idiot coach decided to start Fieler over Dotson ( Dotson at the time was one of the top graded interior lineman ).

I think Fieler took a holding call on two straight drives that killed them.

It was game over very soon after that.

Everyone is freaked out about the oline like we are replacing Probowlers Pouncey and DD.

Last year or the last two in Pounceys case they played more like Pro Bowlers.

If the Oline made up of some rookies and some veteran pickups plays only average it will still be a huge improvement from what we have seen the last two years.

Until they prove otherwise, they suck. I won't assume anything else for a Tomlin coached squad.

And Haden was out with illness.
It is not the same defense with that injury situation and losing their #1 CB.

Well, here is whole list of guys who got 25+ touches/game since 2009:
McCafferty 25.2 in ‘19; Lev Bell 25.3 in ‘17 and Demarco Murray 28.0 in ‘14

It would seem pretty unlikely that rookie Najee Harris will get that this yr.

I agree. If he sees 20 touches a game that's a lot considering the other guys on the Offense.
Of course game 2 game this could, and probably should change.

I think Harris amount of touches a game needs to be in the 20-25 range.
