Big Ben jammed his thumb and JC Hassenauer had an injury to his glutes.......related??

In other news, new OC Matt Canada has implemented more shotgun into the offense.

Everyone that knows me here knows I look at the team as glass half full but when it comes to Ben, I just have no confidence he makes it through the season or even very far into it. It’s mini camp and already needs attention. Balky knees, balky elbow, his shoulders have been jacked up, too, ugh.

Hope Haskins makes big strides or fans will get their wish to see Mason lead the team again and sure hope they are right about him.

If the defense and run game can do what's needed then I can see Mason being Trent Dilfer with the Ravens

This defense won't be close to the 2000 Ravens, we're going to need a little more than that.

Well maybe a little lower comparison then Bortles and Jags from 4 yrs ago. Tough defense, punishing run game and super low risk play calling.

I'm not 100% sold on this Defense after Cleveland hung 45 on them at Home, Against their backup OL, no practice, and no HC.....

A defense that was missing Bush, Bud, Highsmith and Spillanes first game back from injury which was probably too soon.

Not sure we have ever had a defense as good as the 2000 ravens… besides the 76 squad of course, which was better

All those points weren't on the defense.

Good old Trent, win a Super Bowl and team is done with you.

Memory is fading but a few years back they took a poll on who was worse QB to ever win a Super Bowl and if I recall Dilfer was #1 by a huge margin. I think Hostetler and Rypien were distant 2nd and 3rd.

Umm wasnt Pouncy's sky high snap a defensive TD on the 1st offensive play? And how many other turnovers resulted in short fields? You also have the turnovers resulting in a tired defense coming right back on the field. I really can't blame the defense for that loss.

Players get pulled from off-season practices (and to a lesser extent mid-season practices) for a hangnail. The media blow things out of proportion just so they have something to write. I realize that season ending injuries do occur in minicamps but you're 99.9999 % likely to be right.

The only thing the media did was to ask for a status update on Ben and JuJu. If anyone is guilty of blowing things out of proportion is Tomlin by being so mysterious. If its no big deal, than say what they were pulled for.

Pounceys snap was the 7 I was referring 2.
Also you can hold the team 2 a field goal ...at least once.
Also I'm blaming the whole team , and anyone that had anything 2 do with it.

I’m usually optimistic, but after the last game I was ready to cut everyone from Art SR to the groundskeeper.

Ticking time bomb that is :taunt:

Ok, how about this, if Ben can stay healthy, I think he is capable of a very good season. He was doing that last year until the Dallas game.

That’s the best I can go do being optimistic with Ben.
