And just in general being completely flat. It was a carbon copy of the Jax game, they were overconfident and underprepared.

It seems it’s always no preparation and barnyard ball from Ben since the last Super Bowl win.

2015- barely beat a backup and won because of burfict

2016- beat a backup then Alex smith

same song and dance and will be that way with the Ben/Tomlin combo lol

I didn't quote you with this response, so you're the one who doesn't know what he's talking about as usual .

Agree. I get that its a combination of coaches putting players in a position to win, AND, player execution. However, we seem to already have lost the game before it starts based on how we look at the beginning. Not sure what they did to prepare or how much brain power was used for strategy, but based on what happened after the opening kickoffs, it didn't look like IT was enough (whatever "it" is). Maybe having a week off (or giving vets the week prior off) is not a good idea. JMO> On to Buffalo.

I could tell when both teams came out of the tunnel which team was more prepared to win the game. Heck, I could tell when they ran off the field before the game after stretching which team was more amped up to play. That to me falls on coaching and to think their HC wasn't even in the stadium. Pure lack of preparation on the Steelers behalf. Nothing more, nothing less.

Let the Browns fans gloat. The joke was on us Steelers fans that day and his initials are MT.

Noll used to say that the way you motivate is not by yelling and screaming, but by preparing your players to succeed. If a player is confident he will succeed in his matchup, he will be fired up to play.

How many times did we see Ben look to the sideline with his hands in the air after a handoff in a 13-man front got stuffed for -2?

IMO, these guys new they weren't ready.

If you couldn't see it you're blind. I saw it plain as day. Told my son throughout the whole game.

    I totally agree, but....
Whole different crowd of players today .
Not sure if that would work 2 day.

I think today's players would respond to being coached up and put in position to succeed, which I believe was Noll's point. If you tell Robert Spillane that in heavy sets when they spread out, he's responsible for covering the #1 WR, he's probably not feeling too good about his chances.

They win one playoff game and they lose their mind. Browns blow a big one.
