Not if you're supposedly a HoF candidate when you retire or you think you're a starting RB in the NFL. That's an easier thing to do than to stop yourself from scoring when you can run the clock out.

Quite. It a ball is showing, cover it up.

You don’t want to learn that the hard way.

We’ll see. It’s morning and so far I’ve only noticed one.

Agreed, my reference was geared to teaching little kids.

But at any age, you don’t just look around and wait to see what happens.

That's what happens when you have no running game, the first play of the game is a pass, and it's a disaster.

I can't seem to find anywhere in this article that the Steelers weren't ready to play? Where did he say it?

I agree. The Steelers were not prepared to play a playoff game. But, geez. Talk about misquoting a guy.

No running back who has been playing the game as long as Conner should miss that ball. That you think that is somehow on Tomlin just shows that you aren't interested in a rational discussion of Tomlin.

Eat, drink, and sleep them, which is why I hate to see them dragged by the anchor that is the coaching staff.

Ok we get it. Are you not capable of moving on? I wanted Tomlin gone a few years ago, I said how I felt about him and moved on to the next topic. I don’t think most people necessarily disagree with you, but if you’re going to constantly find clever ways to keep regurgitating the same stuff people are going to bust your balls.

Snap to the moon and 4 picks. Their is no preparation for that. That's not Tomlins fault, hell even Ol Randy.

But I do blame them for the lackluster running attack.

The defense had no answers. Blame Tomlin and Butler.

As Glenn said their are posters here that are not fond of Tomlin, I being one. But. he is not going anywhere.

I am looking forward to seeing some of the future players and what they can bring to the table. How will Canada's offense look. A rejuvenated running attack!

It's a new season upon us, rehashing what ifs and what happened is in the past.

Those who don't learn from their mistakes are doomed to repeat them. The Steelers took three years to recover from the embarrassing Jacksonville fiasco and ended up in the exact same place.

I wonder where they'd be if they parted ways with Tomlin then. We'll never know, but we know exactly where we are because they didn't.

Well they signed him to a 3 year extension. Not what I wanted but I don't own the team. He is what he is.

Again, what if's, rehashing, what happened is pointless to me.

I don't expect much this season, but I want to see the future players excel and watch finally a solid run game back in Pittsburgh.
