Are you counting the 2 directly to Larry Brown as well?

I mean, after all they were perfectly thrown placed right between the numbers. Absolutely no way Brown could have possibly dropped those.

After every Steelers loss I am depressed. When they lost to the cowboys I was depressed. When they lost to San Diego I actually shed some tears.

They could have beat Dallas, they were on the comeback trail then picks happened.

One of the worst hangovers I've ever had was after Super Bowl XLV. I drank approximately 30 beers within 12 hours, give or take. I didn't feel normal again until the following Thursday.

I was convinced I was going to die the week leading up to Superbowl 30. This was really the first time the Steelers were in the SB at a point where I understood the game and could care. I was 6 in 1980 and beyond the care package my mom and dad's best friend sent from PA with Steelers stuff football was farthest thing for me. So the loss the year before to the Chargers hurt and having it nearly happen again was torture but the were in. The week leading up to SB I was watching ESPN until the wee hours of the night, specials on Slash and 4 WR's, Kevin Greene's guest spot with WCW. Then my Grandpa Joe died of a heart attack and my folks had to go back for the funeral. I had a fairly routine knee scope scheduled for SB week and figured they would mess up and clip a blood vessel and I'd die because that's the way the week was going. Needless to say NOD's throwing the game away capped the crap two weeks although watching the defense shut down Smith and the onside kick and Bam Morris slamming the ball down the field were great. Damn NOD!

O' Donnell was scared of the pass rush, he seemed to panic when pressured.

It was during that season that he talked about tweaking his throwing motion to improve his accuracy. Just horrible horrible game.

People look at his stats and think he was a good QB. I went to the games and watched him. He wasn’t good. He sucked under pressure. If it was third and 7 he would throw a 5 yard out pattern. Yeah, he completed the pass. And then we had to punt.

One of the cool moments about that season though and by cool I mean 20 years later upon reflection was there was an NFL films clip of either a playoff game or the SB where it's Cowher, Ron Erhardt and NOD discuss a critical play and Cowher is involved and then NOD starts rattling off this long and involved name for whatever the play was with some type of variant. This newer generation talk about play terms and verbiage but there isn't those involved names anymore.

Yeah but the Steelers got payback by signing him years later then cutting his ass. Vengeance!

Rudolph is his clone, almost in every regard. Better deep ball I guess.
